The beast lord was more catious. He slowly began to stalk towards Miguel.

Miguel switched stances, taking a defensive one. he glanced around, checking for anything else that might be causing this. anything that would cause that quick of a change in the beast lord couldnt be good.

The beast lord growled impatently. He couldn't shake this bad feeling. this bad smell.

miguel started to get impacient. in one fluid motion, he slid his back foot in front of his front foot, took an offensive stance, and fired 2 energy blasts simultaniously. then, after a slight pause, pulled his arms back, and leaned into a balanced stance.

The beast lord narrowly dodged and went to attack.

Miguel half-stepped backward, taking a more defensive stance, firing 2 more blasts while doing so. as he got into the stance, his arms glowed more thickly with dark energy. "just die already..."

Suddenly other wolves came out of the woods. They'd been circling Miguel ever since he was fighting the beast lord.
The beast lord took the his and let his wolves take him out.

Miguel smirked. "ah..." he took a full defensive stance, and seven corpses in robes rose around him, forming the seven pointed star from before. miguel chuckled. "come get me."

black markings covered Miguel's face, torso and arms. his eyes were pitch black, and he had fangs again. he smirked, and spoke in a demonic, disembodied voice. "too slow." he jumped into the air, over the star, giving a downward kick to the head of one of the wolves.

One of the wolves neck snapped backwards and it fell over dead. The beast lord howled and some went after the robes undead and he went after Miguel.

Miguel turned to the other wolves. "who's next?" he gestured to the dead wolf.

The BEast lord tackled Miguel. He went snapping for his head.

Miguel launched his hand, fingers extended and together, into the center of the beast lord's throat. that was pretty much all he could do effectively so far. even without the dark energy coursing through him, he was strengthened by the partial transformation he'd gone through.

Echo sprinted out of the woods and knocked the beast lord out of the way. She let out a yelp of utter torment as Miguels attack hit ehr.
