Moé could not speak; her throat was stiff, and her mind tried to analyze those words in a way that wasn't presumptuous.
Robin stood, acting as attorney.
"Now, Father, are you not convinced?"
"I need physical proof, Robbie."
Seal Lady raised her hand.
"Objection! The defendant is my murderer, Lord Lovelace!"
Lovelace raised an eyebrow boredly.
"...so?"
Seal Lady quickly tried to cover her back.
"Uh, uh, there is no physical proof of Moé's love for him."
Robin nodded.
"Yes there is."
She took out a the music box.
"Now, Mr. Caleb, do you have the key for this music box?"
Seal Lady wailed.
"That music box! I tried to chop it up with an axe, but it blinded me...!"
Robin nodded.
"Caleb, do you have the key?"

Caleb withdrew his pale right hand, it returned holding the smaller antique copper skeleton key. "This is the correct key, I would be more than able to use it to open the box if there is a need for more proof." He said, showing the key.

Robin took said key, and made an honest effort to open said music box.
"Caleb, could you try and open it? Wind it up, though."

Caleb inserted the key into the keyhole on the box. He twisted the key several times before a soft click, gears meshing could be heard. The box opened and began to play a soft, gentle song.

Lovelace was shocked.
"Th-That song--!"
Robin paused.
"That's the true love theme... That's to the tune of 'Montblanc's Proposal', a declaration of love from the god of love himself; only those pure in their heart and love can pull it off this brilliantly. It's so... beautiful..."
Seal Lady paused, and then realized that her ears were melting away.
"I-It burns my ears, it's so... pure...!"
Lovelace pushed Seal Lady away as he descended from his Judge seat.
He pulled out the nails holding her hostage, and after putting the music box and key safely in Caleb's home, Lovelace gently pushed the both of them into a portal.
"You two do not belong in a place like this. Your love is eternal, something to be envied."
The portal closed as Lovelace finished his words, and Moé, contract restored, had fallen on top of Caleb on the ground. Her face was bright red, and she was too nervous to move.
"S-Sir...?"

Caleb lifted his head to look at her. No word was uttered from himself as the slid off and stood. The wooden heeled shoes clicked out of the room.

Moé shook her head as she went to her bed.
No..., she thought. It was nothing but a dream...
She poked her head outside and called out..
"I'm sorry if I was daydreaming again. I hate to embarrass you, Sir..."
She laid down on her bed.
What a violent but realistic dream, she thought. But... Sir does not love me, and never will, so this is a precaution against me doing something rash; since Sir doesn't care about me, if anything were to happen to me, I'd be screwed...
She sobbed in silence, her heart hurting.

Moé stood and walked over to him.
"What do you mean? I had this dream where I killed myself and went to Hell, but then you came and saved me, requiting my love."
She shook her hands.
"I-I know that you'd... never love me back, so I'm sorry for embarrassing you like this...butt I don't understand what you meant by 'mistake'."

Caleb turned to look at her. "...Nevermind then, it is nothing." He continued walking.

"It is something....I do not want to speak of." Caleb looked at her. "I will tell you if needed." Caleb walked though the halls, down to the basement to the study.

She ran away to her room, sobbing.

...If only you knew...I cannot show you my emotions for I am not right for you. Perhaps one day that will change. Caleb thought as he fell into a leather chair in the room, taking a hefty tome, one that she had given him, and began to read it.

There was a tiny note tucked into the binding.
'This is a tome from 8th century China on natural cures and things to help with healing. I translated it, so you don't have to worry about interpreting the Chinese.

"Mister Atrophy, you do realize that she'd prefer Hell over this, right?"
