Yay Ravenclaw! XP Ugh, I'm totally lost. Fivienne/Cerbera Dragon, did you get your St.Patrick's Scavenger Hunt prize yet? And Luna_Lovegood, congratulations to winning the raffle--please PM LHH for the prize. ^ ^ Yay! That's 30 house points! -hops up and down gleefully- Anyways. Luna, I think your avvie will do wonderfully. Any story ideas? It's kind of nerve-wracking to be home alone in a big house (or an old one). Especially now with all the news reports of "big bad wolves" XP every little noise or flash in the corner of your eye gets turned into something unpleasant >.> I think scary games are bad for your blood pressure. Or something. Like, you'll get a heart attack if you're too into the game. And the sudden flashes might give you a seizure o.o

I don't like scary things in general.., my cousin had this game that was seriously the most scary game I've ever played before, I forget what it is called though. Anywho, I'm trying to finish the hp and ootp game, hopefully I will finish by the summer.

Don't ask, I was bored.
"Our Intelligence is Sinking
Everyone knows that there are smart people and…not-so-brilliant people. In life, usually the smart people land the high-stress, high-pay, social-life-killing jobs. The not-so-smart people land the not-so-stressful, not-so-high-paying and not-so-social-life-killing jobs. These are, by the way, two ends of an extreme. The in-between people (which most people are) take up a variety of positions in life. Anyways, the really smart people move our society forward, while the not-so-smart people keep our society running. Everyone serves a part, right? But look at the jobs! The jobs that really brilliant people have a very time consuming and give them little chance to have a social life. The result? Smart people don’t reproduce as much as not-so-smart people, for the simple matter that they don’t have time to waste on fanciful things like that. Okay. So assuming that intelligence is at least partly genetic (makes sense, right?) then the human population will slowly get stupider and stupider until all the smart genes are overrun by the not-so-smart genes and we’ll all become couch potatoes and die."

I don't like scary games either. Usually I stick up to The Sims or Harvest Moon. This one however was recommended by my friend and because I know we have similar tastes concerning quite many things, I decided to give it a try. It's a good game, but... it is sometimes scary and stuff... It would be better without these parts. I am really surprised how some people may play these really hardcore horror games and then sleep peacefully.
My, my... that's some great news, Turayza. ^_^ That's 30 house points for Ravenclaw! No, Turayza, I am afraid I did not. ): I was thinking about asking, but the raffle wasn't done so I decided to wait for the results. And, wow, nice considerations. I think... well, now I am afraid... that you may be right, Turayza. Our intelligence IS sinking. o_o *nearly panicking*

Ahh. I missed xTahirux's coming back, so I didn't see the notice that the first game would have been yesterday at what would have been my time's um...-counting on fingers- [I'm 8 hours behind, so it would have been 10 PM] o.o Okay... Hrm... I might have a bit of a problem getting to these Quidditch games... Heh. Anyways, here is one of Oliver's announcements, in case you haven't seen it. xTahirux Posted: 4/5/08 Latest Announcement! ANNOUNCEMENT Good afternoon . . . "OMG! AFTERNOON!? What happened to the Quidditch game?" I'm sorry to inform you, but the official game had to, yet again, be rescheduled. We have not heard from the Gryffindor captain, and the Slytherins were unavailible.
Now now! Don' get apprehensev! Thess happens! Et's all a part of Quiddetch, an' somethen' I understan'! Let's 'ave some patience.
Therefore, the Gryffindor vs. Slytherin game will now be held on Saturday, April 19th at 6:00 pm London, UK time!
Thess gives captains, members, an' everyone else TWO WEEKS to prepare! It would have scheduled it for next weekend, but Madame Hooch will be in Romania participating in a two day Quidditch Rally.
In the mean time, Madame Hooch is setten' up the Qiddetch newspaper auditions, structure and more! She appologizes to those who were eager to see these up this last week, but we've run into the need to discuss the idea with mods and headmasters. These will be worked out as soon as possible!
Thank you! Keep hangin' in there! We'll be playin' Quiddetch in no time!

Turayza what you said is true, sadly our country is going down, sad . Today is my first day back at school, one of my essays I had to re-vise was (which I forgot) on my school account, and being spring break I forgot and didn't go back to school until I realized, it was too late, I noticed on Saturday, so what am I to do? Should I e-mail my professor and tell her what happened, or do it during one of my breaks before class?

Oh no, that stinks. If you can, revise it before class--but before you turn it in, talk to her too. That way you'll have sort of done it and even if it's not very well done she'll probably let you do it again. Wheee! I just wasted 2 hours researching properties of vitamins, the recommended intake and where they come from. XP That was fun.

Oh, did we smoke the other teams in the St. Patrick's Day events!! Special thanks to turayza, who volunteered, set up and ran the Scavenger hunt, and to Fivienne, who cleverly transfigured a Slytherin, and thus probably received a number of Slytherin votes in the anonymous contest, as well as displaying superb Photoshop skills!
Maybe we should offer rent a Ravenclaw to the other teams for our next event?St. Patrick's Day Events to winners:Cerbera Dragon Fivienne Luna_Lovegood Steffyss turayza
as well as those who sent in some terrific enteries, but didn't win (due to luck of the draw, in a couple cases). Lightkin Night of a Thousand Stars paraphernalia_101 shunkerbell_otaku
Well done, ALL!
