Keiro sniffled a bit and climbed onto his bed, flopping on his belly and not caring to lay on his back. "Ugh..." He made a sick face at Kala.
Ushio was flirting with Yuma, he was still a bit of a ladies man. Sakaki was VERY protective over Yuma since she lost her leg and had to have a fake one. He just didn't have the time to spend with her because of the piles of work in his office.

Kala smiled at him.
"Rest Keiro-kun..." She sat down beside him and stroked his hair.
Yuma laughed at Ushio's joke, smiling. She was playing hard to get, but she couldn't help but laugh at him sometimes. He was just so funny! Of course she always had Kari glaring at her from the shadows... and Kaname wouldn't talk to her anymore. Yuma opened her eyes, she always closed them when she laughed.
"Nice one!"

Keiro laid his head in her lap and smiled before falling asleep to rest up on getting this cold away.
Ushio smiled big with this victorious smirk. "I knew you'd like it!" He had tried to tell Kaname the same joke but she had ignored him so he told it to Yuma. "Soo did you ever think about my offer?" He had asked her out on a date yesterday.

Yuma put a finger to her bottom lip and thought for a second, then she dropped her hand and smiled.
"Sure! Why not!" She laughed a bit. "Wouldn't hurt or anything, plus! Your too funny to let down!"
Kaname was watching from the corner, staying out of their view. She sighed.
"I'm too shy..."

Ushio smiled even bigger if it was possible. "Sweet! You can choose where you wanna go..." He rubbed the back of his head, she was the first to accept a date.

Yuma opened her eyes and looked up.
"Um... how about a picnic, that's nice and easy. My favorite place is on the hills facing the village..." She looked back down at him, playing with a piece of her blonde hair.

Ushio nodded. "Perfect! Meet me there in two hours!" He ran off to go tell Kari if she knew of anything to make.

Yuma laughed and turned around to go home when she saw Kaname walking away. She ran up to her, about to say hi when she saw how sad Kaname was.
"What's wrong Kaname-san?"
Kaname glared at her, tears in her eyes.
"Leave me alone!" She ran off.
Yuma watched her shocked.
"Kaname-san...?"

Ushio ran into Kaname's house that they were staying in for the time being. He nearly tackled over Kari when hugging her. "Kari-chan, guess what!"
Sakaki was walking around when kaname ran right into him, he was off of the paper work for a bit to take a break. He picked Kaname up from under her armpits to get eye height with her. "Kaname?"

Kaname rubbed her eyes, a blush covering her face because she felt ashamed of crying in front of Sakaki.
"H-Hai S-sakaki..s-san.."
Kari laughed and hugged him back.
"What? What happened that got you so happy?"

Sakaki narrowed his eyes at her and set her down gently. Running a hand through his hair he sighed. "Whats wrong Kaname?"
Ushio could barely stay still. "Yuma-chan accepted my date request! But I don't know what to make for a picnic..."

Kaname looked away.
"I-It's nothing t-that you should w-worry about.. S-Sakaki-san..." She held back the tears.
Kari looked mad for a second then she sighed.
"Guess I can't protect you from everything, huh?" She smiled a bit and ruffled his hair. "Here, I'll get the food ready." She began to walk to the kitchen.

Sakaki set a hand on her head and kneeled down to her height. "Tell me Kaname, is it because of that boy Ushio?"
Ushio followed Kari confused. "I can protect myself from dating the wrong girl, and I like Yuma...Kaname won't even look at me..." He pouted sad, almost mad Kaname never gave him a thought.

Sakaki hugged Kaname back and stroked her hair. "I see...it's ok Kaname...try hanging out with him to get to know him ok?" He didn't like how Ushio flirted with Yuma and basically stalked her around to tell her jokes.
Ushio grumbled a bit. "Well she needs to not be so shy!" He blushed embarrassed.
