My first game, I renamed Cloud to Alex and left the others there. Then my next games I left them all defaults. I do the same thing everytime when the main character is male. 3nodding

The Crisis Catalyst is just a fantasy of mine. Dirge of Cerebus, however, seems to center around Vincent from what I can tell. *purr*

Unknown Variable Alright, I was GOING to jump in and correct you all with the FF VII stuff, but meri sorta beat me to it. xp When aerith died in my game, I was just: "Oh. Whatever. She sucked in battle anyway." And then I continued on. XD See, 9 times outta 10, I'll end up crying a little if I feel a connection with the character or liked them a lot. Didn't happen in this case. =P

thats saying alot since I got Star Ocean last christmas, and I just picked it up again after 1 year......

I once stumbled across this hilarious page of a doujinshi (Japanese fan-made manga...copyright RAPE, but it's overlooked in Japan for the most part) where Sephiroth's coat flared up as he was leaping down upon Aeris and ended up obscuring his vision. He swears and ends up falling into the water. Aeris whirls around to see what the noise was and her white materia falls away from her. Cloud thinks it's a gumball and swallows it and you end with a large drawing of the characters in various stages of shock. XD
It annoys me to no end when I run across Aeris or Tifa fans who show their love of one character by hating on the other. '~' I love Vincent. Does that mean I bash Cid? Morons.

I've never played that one, LadyD. sweatdrop I've only played FFI, FFII, and FFVII. sweatdrop And the FFI and FFII were on GBA... sweatdrop

Alex: Bingo. XD It made the "Mr. Mr. T" part memorable.
LadyDelaidra: It was very pretty. I love Freya, Fratley, and Beatrix. Freya most of all. Was sooooo sick of the mnemonically challenged hero plot bunny by this point that it just killed any real chance of loving this game for me, but I enjoyed it nonetheless.

You're a fan of FFIX when you can get up to Hades on the fourth disc and kill him under the total of 12 gaming hours to get the best weapon in the game for Zidane.
Meri, without a mnemonically challenged hero, the game isn't worth playing. Didn't you know that? XD
