aria di luce redentrice have you ever done wind tunnel testing? at cyclone speed you're not going to do what you think you are. We have a wind tunnel machine, capable of about 900 mp/h winds, and no.... aerodynamic is aerodynamic. air isn't electromagnetism, it's not a force on its own, it is an applied force to low mass particles. Air velocity isn't actually a hard force, and you'd be tired from beating that machine....and you still wouldn't achieve what you think you would. you would get close, but you're doing it wrong. and it is self negating for blades. and what about says the guy? what did i say wrong? || Dark Crystarium || Without the Darkness...
Susan went effing berserk on Neku and Luka for saying one word. <_< It was a fully justified statement considering Karen was in a very revealing bunny suit.
Also, regards of what you are thinking, it is a mass that applies to anything pretty much. Wind = a force. Have you seen a house get blown away by a tornado or a cyclone. a Cyclone/Hurricane is much much larger than a tornado. The winds are acting on the flat sides of the blade, which due to the wind strength would naturally fling the blade out of Susan's hands OR BREAK IT due to the conflicting forces.
Aerodynamic means that it easily eliminates air resistance, pretty much like a streamlined car, it doesn't fight the force of air resistance that much and therefore travels faster. Cyclonic winds can destroy houses or pick them up entirely and fling them around. And throw people around. Susan's sword is lighter than her entire body and would be more affected by the cyclonic winds than her body would, which would make it mandatory that considering the strength of the winds it would fling the weapon out of her hands, no exceptions. It is exerting enough force that it is impossible to hold the weapon in your hand and fight the force trying to rip it out of your hands.
...the Light can not exist.... EDIT: For simplicity's sake, lets just have one VERY LARGE layer of wind going one direction at cyclonic speeds, sure it may pierce the layer, but it will definately rip the weapon out of her hands regardless and no matter what she does. Susan can not hold onto something when there is a wind pushing against it at several hundred kilometres per hour.

stop using weak wooden, highly resistant structures to justify that. A high level hurrican has wind speeds of approx 170mp/h at category one. A plane wind simulation in our tech lab runs about 460mp/h.
I know that was justified. this isn't me, this is susan, so this is not relevant here.
and since the sword is only flat on two sides, thus dividing all non x axis force by a lot, you are forgetting that this isn't a car, the angle on that blade is less that 17%, this makes the negation in the 90 % range. i don't want to work the equation, since that would take all night. yes, it is a force,but it is mostly wasted. only fractions of the force apply to the blade because of the angle and normal force, except on two sides.
that edit makes everything easier, but cuts you in half instead.

Read my edit. Also, consider those amounts in kilometres since I don't know what mph is in metric. Regardless, I also used humans as an examples in my justification. I don't really think Hurricanes and Cyclones are the same though but I will check.

a cyclone registers about a level 3 on that scale, so it is more powerful, but they are weighed on the same scale, just different powers...so i went to the max power to be safe. read mine too. humans are not aerodynamic either. http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/aboutnhcprobs.shtmlthe above puts a standard cyclone way way way lower speed than the figure i was using.

Also, Luka is still able to sense movements in his barrier from the blade, you move in one direction and Luka is easily able to instantly change the direction in order to either block or fling the weapon out of Susan's hands. I am primarily trying to disarm her of her weapon. Hence the weapon flinging. ...the Light can not exist....

Besides, didn't you agree to this whole mess to begin with? You agreed to take the cut before any of this happened?
and we have established that not only is a sword aerodynamic, but air sense is generalized. since she is starting this off as a stab, not a slash you don't know where the blade is going. She can also adjust as you do since she can see your powers. since a particle must be decelerated, or you must rotate the entire armor this won't work either, sir.
your best bet was to hit her before she got close to you, since she has no powers.

Fine, stab me... just be aware that the barrier will decrease the force of the blow so it isn't deadly. Luka won't feel anything due to Victora's spell/hymn/arcanum whatever. Let's just get this thing over with.

now i wanna see how the uke reacts.
if it takes a deus ex machina to hit you, doesn't that mean you're rabbiting anyways?

And I have no idea. I am not sure I picked an argument for the sake of having fun arguing with you.
Also... Luka would just say "If your friend hadn't used that damned sense numbing, this would have been a fair fight, next time, don't going on about honour and using something dishonourable like that just to beat me".
