Oh please, we're talking about enjoying a cartoon, not hypnotizing kids. There's a difference!
Hey Loli~

I'm with Serend on this one. Really, most kid shows are just about making them shut up for half an hour.
Dora the Explorer is an amazing show just for that purpose.
But it also doesn't help that the only time I watched cartoons was when I had a kid to babysit. >w>

Yes, well. I am all about entertainment value, since kids are not even a thought. And yeah... I agree with Lone... no new ones are good, with the one exception of adventure time. I will have to say I have laughed hysterically at that one. XD

Of course you would come, Loli! 8D You're married to Osaka, who will be married to me, who's married to Lone/Fanta, so then we'd all be connected! :'O In some weird family relationship thing that has most probably no name! 8D
@Cartoons: Yay, Loli agrees! 8D
I'm not saying that I don't enjoy some cartoons. o-o Just.. that almost all of them, from ANY generation, were designed to just distract a kid. <.< So, when you watch an old cartoon, like Looney Toons and whatever and call it gold but the nowadays stuff crap, you aren't actually judging it on the entertainment value NOW, you're judging it on the nostalgia you feel watching something you enjoyed as a kid. o-o The cartoons nowadays don't stand a chance with the older generation since they don't have the history with the individuals that the older cartoons did. 8D
That's my take on it, anyway, which is why I don't pay attention to any new cartoon. xD Unless they were designed for, I dunno, making older people laugh rather than kiddies.
Also, ....I hate to say I really don't like Adventure Time. D:

...What about my husband, then? 0^0
I'm with Serend, again. I never watched Looney Toons as a kid, and as such, I find it incredibly tedious to watch.

That's called Group Marriage Serend! It exists in the Caprica universe, so it's automatically awesome D<
Also, I'll just say that I don't judge thigns on Nostalgia. Mostly because my brain is ******** up enough so I don't feel it >> But, Things have been slowly getting worst and worst. Stuff that played during my mom's time was better than what's playing now, and I never got to watch it only recently.
And you have to admit that the quality in animal dropped severely >> Even Babar that seemed like children's drawing was better than the crap we have now... BUT, I'll say that what's playing RIGHT NOW, is better than what was playing 6 years ago o-o. That was the lowest of the low o-o
EDIT: Then again, I wasn't watching American cartoon when I was a kid, so that might have something to do with that....

I can agree with the nostalgia... but it's also the type of humor I think...
I have the same problems with the old stupid movies and the new stupid movies... The stuff they use for the humor just appeals to me more in the older stuff than the newer stuff... if that makes sense. o.o

Also, I just watche 10minutes of AT and... I'll agree with Serend on not liking it... unless I was high o-o
