...Wait what? I am completely confused, and this has caught me entirely out of left field.

Maybe it's that I JUST came back, but I haven't noticed a really increased level of tension. And any argument... will if it's at all related to the Guitar Hero thing, I consider that to be a friendly conversation/lively debate, far from a fight, and it's not like I am holding a grudge against anybody who doesn't agree with me or see my points as valid, people have differing opinions and value different aspects of a video game. sweatdrop I love Zero and Stream to death...

But I am adequately confused.

You know, I'd like to see where exactly it was that anybody said anything towards a specific person or a specific thing said at any point. The whole thing is not just about one thing that has been said, or one person, it is about how things have gotten between all of us as a group. Explain to me where it's right to react like that to one person bringing up the suggestion for everybody to talk, for all of us to get some of the things off of our chests that we may or may not have been building up on?

Right now, I really don't feel like getting into this whole thing, but I really don't care anymore. If we can't act like adults and talk over things without threats to leave, or saying that we're going against somebody, then I really don't see the point anymore. This entire thing has just gotten childish and everything is getting out of hand. Many of you know what I'm talking about, at least half of you do, and if not then I apologize if what I'm saying is confusing.

There isn't just the issue going on with any comment that was made tonight towards Rachel, a comment that was honestly rude and out of place to have been made. Where was it that anything had been said by a single person? Was the conversation that was going on not about how smoking and piercings were a turn-off for many? Yes, I will agree that in the past Rachel has had her moments where some of what she says has gotten to the point of being hurtful to the male gender, but what was there to have pointed out anything right at her in the least? Again, I'm not saying that this is the main problem that has brought up the entire idea of a guild-wide get together to talk over some things, but that is just one of the many issues that have come up between a number of guild members who have managed to talk over some of the things that have been going on.

I am honestly starting to feel as though this group is breaking apart, maybe it's my paranoia, or maybe I'm crazy, but when there is more than one person and instead a group that has brought an issue into the light and has spoken with many others about the same thing -- there's a problem. Ed wasn't trying to make anybody angry, or to get anybody to quit the guild, nobody is and nobody was. What was brought up was the simple suggestion of getting together to speak, something that many have been dancing around and trying to avoid.

There have been a number of regular members of the AG that have gone into a sort of hiatus or slow period within the guild itself, people that have been part of the guild for years and yet know they have started to visit less frequently. Does nobody see that as an issue that should be discussed, that there is something going on here that needs to be brought up and talked. I can count off people on two hands that have wanted to say something, but haven't because of causing things to get bad within the group or for somebody to get pissed off.

I'm to the point where I really don't care any longer, where this whole issue has gotten absolutely ridiculous. I see no point in saying anything more, there's just no reason to with all that is going on. When somebody brings up the suggestion to talk in a civil manner and people agree, but then it ends up like this what's the point, exactly? There are a number of things that I could say, a number of issues that I could bring up but there is just no point any longer.

I love you, AG, but the guild has gotten awkward to be in and I for one don't like the feeling I get when I post, where I have to watch everything I say to avoid some sort of argument to start, or where I have to censor myself. The AG was never like that before, but over the last couple of months things have gotten out of control and I do not feel at home any longer. Really, I love you AG, but this has gotten to be too much for even me.

For this reason and many others, I would like to say my goodbyes to the entire guild. I'll still be around, but my time in th AG has come to an end. I hope to see you guys around, shoot me a PM or give me a call if you want to talk. I'm always around when I'm not at work, or at least I get back to messages.

I only just noticed now that Guild replies haven't been switched over to the same format as the forums.

Other than worthless banter, I really don't know what to say.

I'm more or less with Suyo on this one. I don't think anyone here really intends for anything they say to be particularly insulting, hurtful, or other similar adjectives to the other members of the guild. I'm also not willing to let the guild I've come to know and love break apart over what is most likely a series of misunderstandings.
