Does Urameshi-senshu need a catgirl announcer for his fights?

Well... REALISM would be that nobody'd ever be able to talk that fast, considering how fast some of that stuff went down... but-

I'm not arrogant enough to play cthulhu and I really only made Dagon to challange Fierce Deity, though I have no idea when that will happen, and I offered to help fill up the branch with him since he was done.
But it shall be interesting, or at least I hope. That's all I can hope for.

I'm making up the threads now for Barton branch.
I will enjoy this thoroughly.
*Attempts to find a good picture of Koto to cycle as the announcer girl for 'Urameshi-senshu no shiei'.*
Having seen the dub first, it always made me laugh that in the japanese he shouts 'Rei gun!'. Just sounds too much like 'ray gun' to me. Makes me giggle.

Yeah, I agree. Saying "Ray Gun" really screws up the flow of it all.

I don't really see why they did that... they did the name of the attack half in japanese and half in engrish. They couldn't go all one way or the other?
While 'rei' does mean spirit/soul, and 'gun' does mean gun... they couldn't use 'spirit gun', or... other thing.
I actually don't know if the japanese word for 'gun' is just 'gun' or not...
*Found a handfull of pictures. Is good to go.*

Typhoon_Omi There is no such thing as "immune to damage". There is high tolerances to physical or otherwise assaults, but when you say you're "immune", often, said person is bullshitting. domokun That's COMPLETELY untrue. Immunities are very common. For example, ghosts and other spirit beings. Most spirits are immune to conventional physical attacks. Typhoon_Omi You're right. However, the concept's not to seek the opponent's vital/weak points. It's to let them expose it for you in what they believe are infallable attacks. An ocean is impossible to pinpoint a single spot upon, and a man could not stand against it. Yet, if it rushed forward in a flood, he could find shelter - and the flood, in a torrent of power, would merely rush by - then disappate. In human terms, foolishly. In other words, you think the way to victory is by exploiting weaknesses in the opponents' attacks? That's fine for most people in FFA, but occasionally you come up against someone who DOESN'T suck and get your a** handed to you. The trick to winning is to trick your opponents, playing along with them and hiding your abilities while charging for attacks until they grow frustrated and reveal an opening they didn't think you could exploit. Failing that, running away and crying seems to work pretty well in my experience.

Not all characters can 'charge' 'energy' for 'attacks'.
You can't just turtle half the fight and then unleash hell on someone if your strategy revolves around trying your best not to die while waiting until you have the chance to stab them in the neck.

=3 Unless of course you're turtling for half the fight by absorbing the damage your opponent is inflicting to power your weapon.
