"I enjoy a good climb, so the trees are find with me. Who knows what we shall encounter in the branches. So, you say that you have not been here long in the forest? Did you leave on your own or did someone take you like I was taken?"

She was curious about her companion and he was indeed providing good company for her. Walking up to the towering trees, she watched as her golden companion moved up next to her. She outstretched her claws and dug into the bark. "This tree is as good as any to me."

Woo followed his lead, until the stopped at the tree with lower branches. She was enjoying his charm and allowed herself to be taken in by it. "Taken as well. I suppose we are both lucky to see what is outside the forest and experience new things. But somehow, I wish I had never left. And this tree is a good place to rest."

Woo hopped onto a branch that looked sturdy enough to hold her weight. Circling around, she settled into the fork. "You must have had a chance to explore, to know where to find food and shelter at. Where I live now, my needs are provided for...I am quite afraid that I will forget how to be a cat!"

She chuckled at this, befoer noticing movement in a tree much farther down from where they stopped. Assuming it was a bird or squirrel, Woo made no mention of it to Izraili. Though she allowed one ear to stay tuned to the rustle.

She stared up at him, admiring his golden fur and wings. Her patterning was nothing compared to his and her wings...well, that was a long story that she seldom told. Chuckling, she had to agree. "Tis true. I suppose with this face and these wings, it would not be an easy thing to forget. And if you left me, I suppose I should only look for you."

Night was starting to fall, but she was not sleepy at all. Not with the occasional rustle coming from the same direction. She kept both of her chartruese eyes on Izraili, "So, do you care to tell me your tale?"

Woo shrugged as her eyes met his. "Probably the same as yours. I wandered out of the forest due my curious nature. I think I had been chasing a beetle, I always seem to be chasing beetles. When I was scoped up and dropped into a bag."

Woo closed her eyes and tried to remember. "After that, there was darkness for a long time. When I awoke, I was in a cage in a marketplace. And the forest no place to be seen."

He listened and nodded as the story came to be quite similar to his. "Yeah sounds familiar. A girl was nice enough to buy me and bring me back here to let me go again!" He smiled happily and purring again looking down and seeing the small fluffycat.

"WAHH!" yelled both Fujiro and Mau. They abruptly jerked up their heads from the letter to Lucifer.

Breathing heavily, Fujiro listened to him. "He's right, Mau."

"I know, I know..." Mau said. "But.... It was so hard..."

Fujiro nodded sympathetically.

Mau looked at Lucifer and smiled sadly. An awkward silence filled the room and he quickly said, "Um... Yuki sent a letter... We were just reading it.... Want to see?" Assuming the answer, Mau read the letter in a quiet voice.

"Dear Auntie Fuj,
Wow, I still cannot believe that dad let me go! Thank you for helping with that! I miss you a lot! Tell Uncle Luci the same, and give him a hugeo hug for me! I also ask for you to tell dad and mom I love and miss them. Oh, and give them hugs from me, too! Give Trouble a noogie for me! I'm safe and sound, so don't worry about me. I won't tell you my location, so you won't try to find me! I will tell you that I am in a high tree- away from predators, if there are any around. A wonderful tree! Well, I love you, but I must go now.
Love lots, Yuks"

Fujiro smiled. "See. She does love you!"

He nodded as he watched the little one below who seemed somewhat small from up where he was. He looked back at Woo admiring her coat again she really was a beauty. He wouldn't tell her though it might make her more snobby then she already was.
