She left Cerulean quickly, just passing through.
She stepped out, her blond hair being blown about by a sudden gust of wind. Her Pikachu enjoyed the breeze ruffling it's fur, though.
She stopped to look at the Day-Care man's house. It would be fun to check it out, but she was headed for Saffron, and didn't need detours right now.
Train yawned, revealing her canines, which looked like little cat teeth. Her Pikachu hopped off her shoulder, sniffing the air, then blinking. It glanced at Train, then headed onward on all fours.
Train looked at the little building that connected the small route from Cerulean and Saffron, and walked inside. She glanced at the man, who nodded and said, "Hi. Hows it going?"
"Fine, thanks." She replied with a smile, grateful he was letting her pass. She'd heard a while back that at one point they weren't letting anyone through.
She glanced at the gym. Pikachu looked up at her. I can't even beat Brock. Though I'd love to check out the gym! Oh well... She thought, and headed on.
She soon came to the train station. It was bigger than she thought it would be. She re-rolled up her sleeves, so they were a little below her elbows, and straighted out her long white shirt. She walked into the place and pulled out her train ticket.
"May I go to Goldenrod, in Johto, please?" She asked the attendant. The attendant nodded and let her pass on to a train. Train slipped into a vacant seat and waited until the train pulled off with a jerk.

"Very good then," Cress nodded quickly, inputting a few last commands into the computer. In order for the switch to be initiated, he had to equip Mai with several wires, much like Alakazam. "The very last thing, and I mean very last thing I need for you to do, is think of your sister. Alakazam will try to reach out with his mind to see if he can find her, and establish a link."
"What do you mean by 'try'?" Mai barked at him, adjusting the length of one of the cores.
"It would be much easier if your sister were here, that way we could directly connect her to the machine as well. But since she's not, we'll have to do it the hard way," Cress explained.
"And if it fails?" Mai asked irritably.
"Then we'll have to bring her here," Cress said simply. "Although, you might want to leave your valuables off of your person when you switch places. Don't forget that while you will indeed be in control of your sister's body, she will have complete control of yours in return."
Mai frowned, for she hadn't thought of that. "You'll just have to restrain her. Me, that is. I cannot have her running around the base as me. The damage she could do to my reputation would be devastating."
"Good plan, Milady. Are you ready?"
"Yes," Mai nodded, and leaned back against the table once more. "If it works, and Kasiya - my sister, that is, starts to freak out or whatever, subdue her," the admin commanded. "Understand?"
"Understood," Cress said solemnly, and just in case, opened a drawer and pulled out a vial of a clear substance. From another drawer, he removed a clean syringe and proceeded to fill it, checking the dosage carefully and tapping the side to get the air bubbles out. "Now, if you would, Milady. Please envision your sister, so that we may begin the procedure."
Mai took a deep breath and closed her eyes, focusing all her thoughts on her younger half-sister. She could see the girl in her mind, clear as day, smiling, laughing, crying, and screaming out in frustration. The Rocket could vaguely hear the sounds of the machine whirring to life, as well as a strange, monotonous chant coming from Alakazam. Her conscious seemed to drift out of her, and for a second, she felt as though she were looking down on the laboratory in a dream-like state. Cress was checking various gages and dials, making sure everything were running slowly. Darkness enveloped her, feeling very much like sleep, and for a moment, she felt, heard, and saw nothing.

As Crenu grinned looking in at the darkness, he couldn't help but feel an air of confidence. This confidence was soon shattered as Larvitar was stuck with a shadow ball from the darkness forest. He lost his balance and stumbled back a little, and before he could regain his footing he was struck hard by another shadow ball. Gengar was pissed now and was on a rampage. Larvitar Slammed into a tree and landed on his feet panting just in time to see Gengar com back into sight and another shadow ball coming right for him. "Larvitar, Rock Slide now!" Larvitar slammed his fists into the ground and brought them upwards, bringing several large bits of earth with them. The shadow ball pulvarized the rocks but was destroyed as well in the process. "Rock Slide once again!" Larvitar threw unleashed another barage of earth at Gengar, who jumped right into the attack. he leaped from rock to rock as they traveled through the air, pushing off of the last one and rocketing forth at Larvitar with his tongue ready to lash. "Larvitar, Bite!" larvitar Jumped forward as well, colliding with Gengar. Gengar's tongue wrapped around larvitar and stung him horribly, but Largitar had managed to sink his jaws into Gengar's ody and the dark power surged through Gengar's body like venom. His tongue lossened and Gengar fell, defeated. larvitar breathed heavily and when he turned to face Crenu, froze in mid movement and collapsed. "Damn, he's been paralyzed... can't be helped now I guess. Come on back, we're almost out I think." Crenu sighed as returned Larvitar to his pokeball, turning away from the ghosts. As he did this, a gang of ghost pokemon formed infront of Crenu. "Come on guys, we had a deal!" The ghost laughed, but instead of attacking the stepped aside and a lone ghastly floated forward, hovering in front of Crenu. It laughed, then slowly hovered forward while looking at Crenu. His ghostly light showing them a path they could follow. Crenu nodded, and followed the ghastly through the forest and through the gate that was marked "Ilex Forest, Golden Rod entrance." He grinned, and ran through to the other side.

Train yawned as the train stopped in Goldenrod. She had fallen asleep, it was one of her favorite things to do.
She stood up and stretched, before picking up Pikachu and stepping off the train, and passangers wanting to head elsewhere stepped on. Train walked out of the station, and walked forward a bit.
She shook her head, as her hair had gotten a bit messed up while she was sleeping. Not that she generally cared, she just didn't want people thinking she didn't care even a little about how she looked.
"Hm?" Train noticed someone run through the Ilex Forest gate. "Hello!" She called to him, smiling, and letting her Pikachu squirm free from her arms and climb up onto her shoulder.

Crenu heard a distant hello and looked in it's direction, only to see a little girl no older that Ky from the looks of it. Why would she be saying hello to him? He didn't even know her. Whatever, he had more important things to worry about now than some kid and her Pikachu. He pulled his bike out of his bag and sped off towards the poke center. This was he first time in Golden Rod, but the map Nurse Joy in Azalea Town was helpful in locating the center quickly. Before long he arrived at the center and folded his bike back up, placing it back in his bag. He wondered into the steps of the center and walked up to Nurse Joy, giving her a cold glare.
"O-oh, may I help you?" She finally said nervously.
"My pokemon are tired. They need to be healed." He placed them on a tray and turned, walking towards a couch and sitting down, not giving Nurse Joy or his pokemon a second guess. He closed his eyes and leaned his head back, simulating sleep as he though to himself about his forest encounters.

When Kilik entered, a few of the combatants all turned their attention towards him. Not in a famous manner, but in more of a 'oh-look-someone-came-in' manner. He strode over to the desk and slammed his hand on top of it. "Alright!" he laughed, taking out his wallet and trainer card, "Sign me up! I want the first person available for challenge!"
The woman behind the counter was taken aback by his sudden entrance and demand for a challenge.
"My! Quite excited, are we?" she looked at his trainer card and typed in his ID Number onto a PC. A picture downloaded on the screen - a simple head shot. There it was; his trademark smirk. "Kilik Ranmo. Age: 15. You're from Verdanturf and currently hold seven badges. Three from Johto, and four from the Kanto Region. Very impressive, Mr. Ranmo."
Kilik blew on his fingernails and then rubbed them on his chest casually. "I get around," he took his Trainer Card back and tucked it into his pocket and crossed his arms over his chest, "Now then...who's my first opponent?" he asked.
"I'll take him on," replied a female voice. A girl walked out from the shadows with a hand on her hip. Black hair donned her head, cutting off just below her earlobes. She had vibrant green eyes and round cheeks. A smile played her lips. "Surely, he's not all he's cracked up to be." The girl pulled a Pokeball from the white belt around her skirt, which covered just to the top part of her thigh. Kilik turned to look at her. His eyes widened when he saw how short her skirt was. Her black shirt donned the words Ready for Beatdown? The girl's arms were covered by white sleeves (it seemed she was wearing a white long-sleeved polo beneath her black t-shirt) and her hands donned fingerless white gloves.
"Alright, you're on!" he laughed, "Just me and you, in the arena!"
"I warn you, Mr. Ranmo," the girl chuckled, "Rebecca Moore doesn't lose." The girl's smile became a smirk, a smirk that could rival even Kilik's.
"There's a first time for everything!" he smirked, grabbing a Pokeball of his own.

Train crossed her arms. "Wow, he's rude!" She said, and ran off after him.
She followed him to the Pokemon Center. Train watched as he was mean to Nurse Joy, too. Then, still watching, she saw him sit in a chair, and fall asleep without even caring. She was going to give him a piece of her mind.
She walked into the Pokemon Center, smiling at Nurse Joy, but passing the counter. Train stopped in front of the couch the older kid was in, and said, "Hey, you! That was rude, you know! You could've at least said hi back! And why be so mean to Nurse Joy? She didn't do anything to you, she heals your pokemon, so you should be grateful!"
Train had her arms crossed again, as she waited to see if he would even answer at all or ignore her again.

Crenu opened one eye and looked forward. The same girl from before was now yelling at him ad he didn't really know why. rude? Be grateful? he closed his eye again and took a great big deep breath, letting it all below out slowly. "Why should I thank someone for doing their job?" he finally responded, all the hile keeping his sleep like disposition.

"Because they work hard, and they do it so they can help you. That's why." Train replied simply. She put her hands in the pokcets of her long black pants.
Why thank someone for doing their job? An odd question, and one she hadn't been expecting, but she always had an answer.

"Ah-- hey!" Nina yelled, as she was more or less shoved out of the way by a boy, followed by a young girl a few moments later. "Rude idiots," she muttered, as she and Rai headed back towards the Gym. The return trip seemed to go by much faster, mainly because she was tired and couldn't wait to feel the comfort of a bed. She couldn't stay up late with Rai every night, whether she loved him or not--
Whoa, whoa, WAIT! she thought furiously. What? LOVE? He's only my friend, and I've only been traveling with him for a few days! Gah, the fatigue's gotta be getting to me to be thinking like that. I love him as my friend right now, and respect him as my boyfriend, and nothing more. Nothing more.
She chuckled a little and shook her head. "What's so funny?" Rai inquired, looking to the girl. "Ah, it's nothing. It's the tiredness-- I get a bit giggly when I haven't slept." She faked a yawn-- well, sort of. "In that case," he replied, "let's get you into a bed. You don't have nearly as long-lasting of a battery as I do. You need to get some sleep."
"Well... are you sure you'll be okay? You don't need any company or anything?" He shook his head a tad. "Nina, you've given me enough company tonight, and I really appreciate it. I can't ask this of you every night-- I know for a fact that it'd wear you out in no time." Oh, thank god he said that, she thought.
Some time later, the pair arrived back at the Gym; Nina bid Raimundo goodnight as she headed into the girl's dormitory, while he hung around near the arena of the Gym. She noticed Kasiya and that new girl --Maven was it?-- sleeping as well. Quickly and silently, she slipped into some nightclothes and hopped into bed.
Sleep swept over her like a gentle tide.

Maven wasn't the only one with troubled dreams that night. At first, Kasiya's dreams had been pleasant, reliving her better memories with Keegan, the thrill of winning her badges, and her wonderful Pokemon and their many incredible feats. And then there was darkness.
She felt cold, like a wet, damp blanket had been draped around her shoulders, and she opened her eyes groggily, realizing with a slight squeak that she was looking down upon herself while she was sleeping. Is this astral projection? she said, or rather thought, her voice echoed loudly in her mind. She could see Maven squirming around in her sleep. She must be having a nightmare, Kasiya thought worriedly, wishing she could comfort her. It wouldn't be the case as she suddenly felt as though she were being dragged somewhere, and once again the darkness came.
"...you...me?" a faraway voice asked her. "...ai? ...you there?"
Kasiya nodded slowly, but then realized she wasn't nodding at all. "I'm...all right," she said slowly, unable to believe just how much effort was needed to get the words out. It was then something else struck her as odd - that voice wasn't hers. She opened her eyes slowly, wincing under the harsh glare of the lights staring down on her.
"Did it work?" the strange man asked. "Tell me who you are."
Panic rose in her throat as Kasiya became perfectly aware that she was no longer occupying the bed in Saffron gym's dormitory. The man standing her was unfamiliar, and her eyes widened with fright as he peered down at her, checking her pulse and making sure she was all right. No, get away from me! she screamed mentally, struggling to fight him off. It was futile though, as her limbs refused to move. Great tears welled up in the corners of her eyes, and slid down the sides of her face, leaving blackened streaks from where the mascara she wore had started to run. "Who...are...you?" she whimpered slowly. At this particular moment in time, she had never been more terrified in her entire life.

"They shouldn't work hard for the thanks anyway, little girl. they should work hard anyway so that they can accomplish something with their lives." He continued to feign sleep, but suddenly shot right up from his seat and bent over to meet the girls gaze eye to eye. "Tell me, what have you accomplished? Have you done anything worthy of merit, something that I should thank you for since you worked so hard? I haven't, and so I expect thanks from no one." he sat back down and continued to look at the girl. "Take it from me, being nice won't get you anywhere in life. Truth is, you need to walk all over people who can't cut it, that's the only way. Learn that while you're young."

Train shook her head. "Life's not all about "making it". It's about having fun! Right, buddy?" She said, turning to look at her Pikachu.
"Pika!" The Pikachu responded happily.
"Looks to me like you're the one who needs to learn. How often do you smile, anyway?" She asked. Her own smile, which had appeared on her face, didn't fade.

"Heh, that's such a kid response. You've got a lot of growing up to do. Crenu placed his rather large hand on her head in a teasing way, then pulled it back and went back into sleeping position on the chair. "I don't smile, I grin." He stated snoring, though it wasn't clear weather he was really sleeping or if he was playing the part just to be mean.

Train stared at Shiro for a moment. Then she laughed--in her head.
She turned and whispered something super-quietly to her Pikachu. The electric-mouse pokemon nodded, and jumped off of Train's shoulder, landing on Shiro. It let out an ever so slight electric shock, smaller than a Thunder Wave, but still noticable, yet still not enough to do any damage, and then returned to Train's shoulder, who giggled, then turned and ran off, hoping Shiro would get mad and run after her after getting his pokemon back.
