Anasi smiled, but it was a sad smile. She wanted to save everyone, but she would not force this woman to leave. So standing slowly she looked over at the tiny house which had been directed to her. Looking down at the woman again she sucked in a deep breath and then turned to walk off towards the tiny house. she hoped she would find many below the floor, but judging by the look of the town, she probably would find fewer than ten. She then jumped high into the air, landing on the small building before jumping again and landing before the door. She was hesitant, this could be a trap, but the woman looked so nice, she just had to believe her, so without another moment, she pushed open the door too look around.

::the area she had entered seemed to actually be lit by sunlight, unlike the tunnels and the lake that she had just left. It was warm, but not unpleasent, and the area itself seemed relaxing and rather uninteresting::
~*~With Ansai~*~
::the lady closed her eyes again, and the gong continued to sound at regular intervals. As Ansai entered the house, it became quickly obvious to her where the trap door was located. The corner of a rug had been left curled up, revealing the seperation of the floor boards that were larger than normal::

(ooc: woots the harry potter movie rocked... but was kinda long... and was sold out almost all day... -.- )
Kaida was a fast swimmer and kept herself steady as she made her way to the hole. Her hands were raw after a while from pulling herself along with the rope but she wouldn't complain. At this point the object that she and Rei had set out for in the first place was of no value to her. All she wanted was to know that her team was safe and that Rei was alive and well. She finally made her way through the hole and fell forward into the place without water, where at last the water ended and she could take a breath of fresh air which her lungs now burned to have.

arrow Ancient Ruins
Areno had already caught up to his classmates, and viewed the ruined city to his great dissatisfaction. "Buki-sensei? Is there going to be some sort of challenge to this? I d-don't mean to be disrespectful, of course... but it just seems like we're searching for one rock out of many..."
He wasn't sure if that was what he was meant to think, or if it was supposed to be just a test of how well they could communicate.

Rei bathedin the sun light to warm up, " I wonder if Kaida is ok?" she wondered as she scaled the area, looking for life besides herself. ~Yawn~ she rubbed her eyes sleeply "This place feels like home" she shook her head to get out any water still there. Then she started her slow walk to check the place out

::buki sensei was no where to be found, having stayed back in the classroom, shutting the door behind her. Indeed there seemed to be no clues on the surface, but it just meant that they were going to have to do a little more indepth searching::
~*~With Rei and Kaida~*~
::as Kaida slipped through the hole, she would find herself landing on soft grass in regular sunshine, and not too far away, was Rei, who had not too long ago exited the water herself::
(ooc: sorry guys, at work and my break is almost over, so I had to cut it short. Remember, keep the comments like "ROFL" and "Thats cool" to the ooc forums. If you want to include something like that, go ahead, just please put it in bubbles and try to refrain from one word posts, otherwise they will be deleted ^.^)

Anasi walked over to the rug and quickly pulled it away to reveal the trap door. Pulling it up she then tossed the heavy previously concealed door backwards to reveal a flight of stairs. With slight hesitation, she then decended the stairs slowly, her hand running along the wall for guidence, appearing to look for a switch.
"Hello is anyone down there? Im here to help..."
She said in her soft tone, though the volume had increased greatly.

::the hallway that the stairs lead into was dark, the stones were mostly smooth, allowing her to keep her hand against them and make her way through the hall. After awhile in the dark, she would be able to hear voices. One of them seemed to be raised::

As Kaida realized she was in sunlight and on dirt she got shakily up to her feet. Looking around her she took in everything and spotting Rei she ran over and lept on top of her knocking her over as she hugged her. "Rei I am glad to see you in one piece." Remembering her place she quickly got off the girl and smiled. "Well.. this isn't over... we must get that gem for sensei... but oh well"She runs her fingers through her wet hair and looks to Rei. "Shall we be moving then?... we shouldn't waste time..."

"Guy's I'd watch your back if I where you, something tells me those wolf carvings have more to do with these ruins then is aparent" Kinoru goes and examines one of the carvings more closly "Interesting, and I thought they were just a legend."

(ooc : ::blink blink blink:: Hm, legend? Makes me wonder what your characters think those are, hehe, since I pretty much just made up this whole thing, this should be interesting. Kinda waiting for more people in that section to interact with each other before I post some more on it...)

His hair was a bit mussed, and there were the tell tale signs of stress at the corners of his eyes::

Kinoru takes out a peice of paper and a chunk of charcoal from his pocket, and makes a rubbing of the carving. "This may come in handy"

Once most of the students arrived, Oni stated his idea.
"Everybody let's search this place in a grid-like pattern, so that every possible place for the red gem has been searched." he stated as he started to search an area.

Areno sighed. "How am I supposed to find something like this? I'm not good at searching..." His question went unanswered once he realized that Buki wasn't with them... that made this situation all the more trying. He lowered his head, grumbling, "Fine, I guess I'll just have to... get serious." Areno's head snapped up as he flexed his heavily-weighted arms and legs, crouching down with his left foot behind him.
The Sunagakure student kicked off, tearing down the other side of the hill and making his way into a separate area of the wrecked city. He understood being alone, and he could be less fettered by himself than with the others.
