She smiled when he went to clean up. She laid back and watched him disappear for the shower, smiling more as little unwanted fantasies floated in her head.
She glanced at her surroundings and again rested her hands on her stomach. A baby...who'd have thought..
Arioch took a seat on the counter and let the two talk. He was just going to play ref...for now until his Song returned.
Raven nodded. "That he did..." She wanted them back but figured Joe never asked how to get them back. Half the fun was trying to figure it out. Something to talk to Jay about she supposed.
"So what's Alex down with?"

He shrugged. That one wasn't his problem. Alexis could tell her.. mother.. he groaned inwardly, Alexis of course, didn't know that Raven was her mother.
"She doesn't know you're her mother either.. "
He starred at the empty coffee cup for a moment before speaking again.
"We thought it would be best this way"
Currently though, he wondered how he had ever come to the conclusion that not saying anything was 'best'. Most likely, a fear of her hating him forever for sleeping around, something he couldn't exactly not do.

She didn't care if he slept around. It was part of who he was. Something she couldn't stop even if she wanted it too. Yet she could say who he didn't sleep with but she kept silent on that. Old habits.
She walked to the fridge and peeked inside. So the girl didn't know she really had a mother. Always good to know she wasn't alone.
Looking in the fridge nothing was revealed to catch her interest. Leaving it, she sat on the island table, in between Ari and Joe. "We?"
She blinked and looked at Joe.

He looked over at Arioch then, who seemed to be no help whatever.
"I sought Arioch's advice after the disaster"
He had sought his advice before during and after it, the only time he hadn't sought it was when he had temporarily dissapeared for a few years.
"We agreed it would be best to see how things develop"

Raven glared at Arioch. "You knew about it and you didn't tell me?"
Arioch blinked. "I was sworn to secrecy by him. I wasn't going to spill until he did."
She rolled her eyes. Why wasn't she surprised. So it was only a select few memories that were stolen....something she wanted to gain again, somehow..

"Him telling you wouldn't have changed anything.. the memories are still lost"
He pointed out, obviously unhappy about not being able to return the memories. He had beatiful memories of his 'family' of their daughter growing up, of the love Raven had had for her, and the complete lack of acknowledgement after they had Alexis back as to who she was.

"He still could have said something." She murmured.
Arioch gave a wry look. He could but he held his end of the bargain..He knew of some of those moments, wishing her could say something and wished it was in his power to restore...

He shook his head. There was no way to make this easier. Arioch had promised him to keep it quiet because he knew that Joe had no way of undoing the damage.
"It wouldn't have returned what was lost... I didn't want you to.. "
He stopped talking there. The way she had looked at Alexis after, as if her own daughter was a stranger to her, it was that that had made him decide to hide the truth from her.
"Raven.. I"m sorry.. please believe me that everything that led up to you loosing the memories of Alexis.. I couldn't do it, couldn't handle you not knowing who she was.."
It had been hard for him, to finally have his daughter back again only to loose her mother.

youngshorty Skyling smiled as she lightly nibbled on his neck, moving in sync with him. She simply thought of the possibility of conceiving here...Just a little him and her. It interested her and she wanted a little one of their own to hold.
Her wings fluttered, feathers brushing along his skin as she grinned sweetly, excited of what they soon do. She loved it because it was with him...
His lower half changed, and he met her lips in a passionate and hungry kiss.ooc: and fade out.

She was tempted to ask him why he didn't want her to, but nothing but words to go on, it wasn't asked.
She looked to him. "There is no way of regaining them...is there?"

"No, there's not"
The words came out cold, hidden deep beneath them his true emotional state. Frustration that he was incapable of replacing the memories, that he had been incapable of it when it had mattered.

She nodded and stared at the floor, moving her toes up and down, examining how they moved.
Arioch blinked and smiled softly. Him help? Bah the guy was good in bed, and he just got him back...but how was he to help?

He threw Arioch a frustrated look at his ability to help out, apparently, the older demon figured he'd be able to handle this one on his own.
Frustrated, he put down the cup, roaming the pantry until he came across a bottle of liquor and pulled it out, opening it up and drinking out of the bottle. There was no way out of this mess and he figured that if he got drunk, at least, he might find the funny side to what was happening.
A few sips later, he offered the bottle silently to Raven, figuring she could do with a drink too

Arioch grinned, watching his friend find the drink. Shaking his head at the mild amusement, he turned to Raven.
"There is a way but when Joe told me what happened he told me he was cursed too..."
There...a half lie...or was it a half lie?
Raven looked from the bottle to Arioch raised a brow before she took the bottle and took a deep drink. She felt the burn of the drink and ignored it. "He was cursed?"
Ari nodded. "He too's cursed like you were robbed. Same man too." He shrugged.

He mumbled darkly. It wasn't his fault that he couldn't restore her memories, much as he blamed himself for it.
Without though, he took the bottle off her and started sculling the content. He needed to hit the happy drunken stage where nothing mattered anymore, and fast. There was only so much he could handle, and it was about to cross the line.
