eek I know, It was a peta thing... So people were saying It was staged.. But the racoon that got skinned was still moving afterwards... It makes me sad

They made us skin our cats in biology. That was the worst part of it all. And then they were kept in formeldehyde all year so we kept going back to our cats... XP
Ours was named Sir Wellington the Second, Twice Removed.

What bothers me is the PETA ad that's protesting leg traps. Oh, it's a good thing to ban and protest and everything, but the commercial featured real footage of a fox suffering while caught in a leg trap. I guess they could have caught that stuff on a camera that was staged there, but looked an awful lot like a manned camera to me.
It's like, you say you're against animal cruelty yet you're apparently okay with letting one suffer to further your cause. rolleyes

First of all, ******** PETA. A bunch of crazy ******** who think their on a mission from god to save animals. They made that stupid as ******** Chicken Halocaust site.
And all of you; whatever the ********, man. We're humans - We hunt, eat, and kill animals everyday. Thats our job - population control. And we overdo it, as well, but ohwell. Thats what happens when your top dog.
But which of you, among you, would honest give up your luxuries to save animals? Or just to *help* them? Say your power plant is in the middle of a forest, which used to be the habitat of family of Red Fox. They were run out, so you could have heat. Would you give up your heat and electricity to help the animals?
And if any of you said yes, your ******** liars. You would not, and we all know that. Your only bitching because, for the most part, your life is easy and you have time to b***h. Thats why nobody takes anybody seriously - Its all the middle class and the rich heading these organizations.
Easy to care when you have food on your table and heat in your house.
Now, should violence practiced on animals be shown in public or on TV? Personally, I say no. Especially not to protest it. Should lipstick be shoved up a rabbits a**?
No, but it is. And thats the facts of life. Big corporations don't care. Nobody cares, except ******** nutjob organizations like PETA - who would sooner let you die then a pidgeon.

/rant If I saw an animal hurt or something, and I could do something about it, I'd do it. But if PETA (Or whoever) have such big deals, they should demolish all their homes, and make a nature reserve. See if that helps.

Its easier to say you want to do something, then to actually do it.
Protest/Petitions, ect are all just Saying you want to do something. PETA is saying you want to do something.
Those people who sneak into animal clinics and set everyone and everything free, I respect those people. That's doing something.
The type of people who blow themselves up infront of abortion clinics have my respect. Though our beleifs may be different, they've actually done something.
I don't know if any of you americans have seen it, but theres a commercial here where these people see a bottle sitting on the sidewalk. More people come around, and all of them comment how disgusting it is and how awful it is that someone would do that. And then this one guy walks past, picks it up, throws it in the can, and walks off.
If that guy hadn't come, they would have made a petition or a protest. I'm sort of longwinded and repeating myself, so I think y'all get the point. You can't complain about things - You gotta go out and fix it; Government Laws stipulating or not.
Otherwise, please, shut the ******** up.

I kind of have to disagree with you Rex. I'm not fond of Peta, but the senseless killing of animals for fun, sport or any reason besides for food is horrible.
And we both know one girl who would give up everything she ownes to help an animal. In an instant.
