Hmm... maybe.... *Than was breathing slowly. It'd been a week since he'd been anywhere but this couch... and he knew he couldn't stay there forever. Than had used his arms to throw his legs over the edge of the couch. His back was healed somewhat, and he had partial hope that the nerves may have reconnected. Mustering every bit of force he had, Than tried to move his legs even the smallest bit. Surprisingly, he managed to make one of his legs shake a bit*.... whee

*Than had stopped the shaking and was now focusing on pushing it down to the ground. This hurt a great deal more than just making it move at all. A few times, Than manages to push himself up from the couch with his arm, but was forced back down because his legs couldn't take the weight* ><

Son of a.... >< I'm going to pull a few wires when I see him again. *Than continued to attempt his standing. Now he was off the couch and squated as far down as he could, knees bent as much as possible. He was wincing and was hardly making any progress on standing. He kept one hand on the couch for stability* grr...
Fenton: mew? *He was tilting a bit, while watching Than try to do something* >.>?

*Pet walks into the room and rolls his eyes* it might be smarter... to strengthen your legs before attempting to use them...I do believe I have some ankle weights in the store room if you wish to use them*Pet's tail flicks back and forth*

*Than tried to put on a grin, but it quickly faded under the stress of using his legs* sweatdrop Maybe. I'm not sure if it's the nerve connections or my legs themselves. Maybe I haven't used them in longer than I thought. I'd appreciate it a lot sweatdrop *Than goes back to his attempts, succeeding more in hurting himself than standing*

*Pet snorts and slinks out of the room, he returns a moment later with two straps of weights, the weights strapped around the ankles of a person so nothing needed to be held, Pet walks forwards and bending down shoves his shoulder into Than's torso and rather unceremoniously lifts Than back on to the couch* here.. when you can lift your feet off the ground with these things on I'll let you try to walk*he sets the weights next to Than*

I became your trainner when you became the inhabitant of this couch stare *Pet flicks his tail and sits in a chair, he pulls his book down from a shelf and starts to read, almost ignoring Than*

Than: *he blinked a bit and looked to Fenton* sweatdrop Eheh.... I knew he was gonna say that.... *Than had already figured that Pet wasn't as accepting of visitors as Kai. Probably, the only reason Pet had lent him the weights was so he could get better and get out of the house faster* ^^;
Fenton: squeak!
Than: I hear ya....*Than tried to lift his ankles a bit, using a little help from his hand*

It'd started aching*...... *After a good minute, the slight pain passes and than shrugs it off. He went back to lifting up his legs with just his knees. So far he'd succeeded with less than an inch of lifting. While he did that, he remembered something* Pet-san.... when I leave, you get a free hit for whatever I did before....
