I think I use a few of the ~ words quite a bit, but only in private. I'm too polite to use them in public. sweatdrop
Though I can't recall ever using the G~ word.. nor have I ever really seen it as a bad word.

Sophist Nines19 (This isn't a rant, per se, just a negative observation that kind of annoys me, likely because I'm thinking too much about it.) confused You know how there are usually the "common symptoms" for diseases and disorders, and people like to use them to say, "I think I have..." to others? (Most often these people don't have anything wrong with them and are either over-reacting or want something to be wrong with them for attention, in my experience, but obviously that might not always be the case.) I apparently have some "common symptoms" for two different conflicting eating "disorders". (Possibly not actual disorders, but the things they say you do/have when your eating habits are ******** up.) ...does that mean my eating habits are normal? What are the symptoms, if you don't mind my asking? Completely and totally forgetting to eat and/or not eating for too long (10, 15, 20 hours). vs. Impulsive eating when I get upset/pissed off/bored. I'm sure that's not healthy, actually. I just don't know what to do about it. sad

Haha funny. >_> I'll just try not to curse, to be polite, then...
Happy: Erm, not really happy at the moment... sweatdrop
Crappy: My dad took and lost my blackberry and stole the sim card, and guess what? Tomorrow is my best friend's birthday and I stored her number ONLY on that phone! I can't memorize it because she just moved and it's her new number, and we had plans to f****king celebrate her birthday last weekend! Dx
I'm contacting people on myspace, but they all are unreliable!! scream I'm pretty stressed and my dad is NOT helping. He's giving me the silent treatment as if he doesn't give a F***K!!
I'm about to cry... Dx And I can't contact her online because her laptop broke down. crying
Indifferent: Nothing. Too stressed and frustrated.
What do I tell her? Dx She's going to hate me! ._.

I would just try to be aware of why you're eating, if you're not actually hungry, and replace it with something else. Sometimes I snack when I'm bored, but I see this as an improvement over smoking. I personally had a really hard time distinguishing when I'm actually full because I eat quickly. Listening to your body is key. Nuri's idea is a good one, and something I planned on doing as well. When I'm on the internet or playing video games I tend to forget to eat.

I eat when I'm bored. I've found that replacing food with ice chips satisfies my need to munch and helps me get more water. You might try that.

Except when there is nothing good to eat, I grind my teeth, which is worse. xP
And I feast on chocolate. Probably not a good thing when both sides of the family is diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes. x_x
