Revenir grinned, evading the scythe purposely as she twisted Elric just inches away from the large blade. "Be careful there, Nina. Don't want to turn him into a half cousin." She responded, it was anyone's wonder as to how she knew that. She then looked to Elric, who's grip was weakening. "Shame I'll have to break you. You would have made a good toy till I got bored of you."

Nina pulled her scythe away, careful not to cut Elric. She had hoped to fire off an explosive round and use the recoil to slice Revenir but with her holding Elric as a shield this would be difficult. Nina slowly circled around Revenir, trying to find an opening that wouldn't end up opening Elric.

Revenir kept Nina in view. In her waiting, Elric lost consciousness and was put to sleep. "I've only got him in a sleeper hold, for now at least." She teased. "They're so frail aren't they? Not like us, if I wasn't careful. I could snap his neck like a twig."

Nina stayed silent and continued to glare. She knew she needed to act soon or Revenir would stop being 'careful'. Nina turned her scythe and pointed the top behind her. She released the handle and it slammed backwards. A blast of fire shot out and propelled Nina forward at Revenir.

"You still want to continue this battle?" Said Revenir in a sly tone. She did something that was sure to upset Nina, she threw Elric, followed by stream of electricity, the attack would surely go through the both of them, if not Elric alone.

Nina caught Elric and stopped, nearly falling over. She was about to say something but she had no time. Nina turned her self around dropped Elric as the lightning hit. Nina screamed in pain for a brief time before the lightning was stopped. Nina panted and turned around, in the ground was a blood covered rapier acting as a lightning rod. "Wish I could have thrown it sooner." Turada said with a slight wheeze. "But this damn thing just wouldn't let go." He kicked the corps of the lurker over towards Revenir and then approached the rapier. "The thing stuck to it like a slug made of molasses."

Revenir assimilated the corpse of the Lurker into her shadow. She was about to charge at Nina with Katana in hand, but she was stopped. "That will be all, Revenir..." Said a deep voice from underneath a black and purple robe. The eyes underneath were nothing more than red circles. The figure's robes greately resembled those of Connor's memories. "But I want to kill her! Why won't you let me kill this outdated girl?" Whined Revenir, others in robes began to circle her. "It appears she won't give us what we want." "We should cut our losses for now. Continue to watch." "Agreed, continue with your other plans. Revenir, come along now." With that, the robed figures all vanished in puffs of black smoke. Revenir was behind, she picked up her rapier and watched Nina from behind her back. "We will settle this later." And with that, she too was gone.

Turadas eyes widened some as the robed figures appeared. Nina only readied her self in case they were back up. As their conversation went on Nina looked to the rapier then to Turada, she made a gesture for him to get it but Turada wouldn't move. Nina looked over to Revenir as she grabbed the sword and glared some. "I guess we will." She grumbled. Once Revenir was go Nina put her scythe away and stomped over to Turada. "Alright spill it." She ordered.
Turada looked down to her. "Spill, what?" He asked. Nina stared at him intently for a moment. "Those people, you know who they are better than I do." She said.
"well if you know who they are why are you asking me?" Turada replied.
"All I know about them is that they're the reason Connor is an orphan. I saw that look you gave them, you know very damn well who they are."
Turada sighed and looked to the others. Fara was sitting on a rock exhausted from carrying so many people. "I'll explain later." Turada said. "First we need to get these people some help." He walked away, going over to one of the warriors to help them up. Nina sighed and shook her said, she went to check on Elric since she had dropped him rather than set him down.

By now both Elric and Benjamin were up. The former was in quite a bit of pain from being electrocuted. "Sorry, I let you down, cousin. I almost got myself killed just now." He said to her, he didn't want Nina to look at him. He was ashamed of himself. Benjamin on the other hand was rather confused. "So, uh, what did I miss?" He said, wondering why there was a shadow over his head. The reason was Alva, whom had waited all this time for him to wake up. She picked him up and began to smush him. "Oh, not you again!"

Nina shook her head some and hugged Elric. "it's ok, I wasn't going to let that happen to you." She said. "How are you feeling? Need any help moving or do you think you'll be fine?" She asked, moving to help Elric stand up.
When Fara heard her brother cry out she looked over to him and Alva. She let out a groan and got off her rock. "Really, can you please just leave him alone." She yelled out to Alva as she walked over to them.

(((Thought I sent this out o0))) "Ow, ow, pain, ow. No touching!" He complained, it was too late though. Nina had already helped him up to his feet. Elric was still shaking after that one. "Why? I'm just showing him I'm capable." Asked Alva. "Sister, Fara...what is she going on about?" Asked her brother.

"oh sorry." Nina said, carefully letting go and making sure he was able to stand. "Yeah, getting electrocuted can make the nerves pretty sensitive for a while." Nina rubbed her own arm.
Fara let out a sigh. "She's showing you that'd she make a great mother by carrying you." Fara said with a slight blush. "Bro, she's hitting on you, in her way."

"Yeah, but you're practically indestructible in your mother's armor." He replied to his cousin, though Revenir's words says otherwise. They were just that much more durable than the average person. He squinted his eyes and looked on the ground. "Hey, I think she dropped the crystal ring in battle." Said Elric, pointing to the item. "A great mother? Hitting on me?" He said in a panicked tone to his sister. "I'm sure you're nice and all, but I'm not accustomed to your culture!" Alva hardly payed attention to his words, and instead continued to smile blissfully unaware. "Turada! Help me, will you?!"

((wow talk about timing, I just came here to check if you'd posted since I hadn't been quoted in a while.))
"well the armor doesn't make lightning any less painful. I think it's more of like, a body, thing." Nina said looking around at the mention of a ring. She saw where Elric was pointing and squinted some. "oh yeah I think she did." Nina said with a smile, running over to the ring.
"Sorry kid I'm too old for her." Turada shouted to Benjamin. Fara shot a glare at him and he sighed. Turada walked over to them and took a moment to asses the situation. "Have you tried tickling her? While it may be considered flirting if she isn't ticklish it should at least be worth a shot."

"I'm beginning to believe that, actually. With the way you've been tossed around, hurled around, punched, kicked, and a variety of different elements effecting you. I'm sure the armor dampens much of that, but I couldn't expect to survive those things. Revenir's words maybe holding true." He explained to his cousin. "Well, lets get a move on. You go on ahead into the temple with Turada. The rest of us well get help for these warriors." Benjamin was giving Turada such an evil glare right about now. This tickling better had help. He gave it a try, turns out she was ticklish after all and let him go. Immediately, Benjamin ran behind his sister. "I can't see how I'm supposed to be hubby material."
