Yes, but I believe that we may well have more than one soul mate. Why only one person? I see the reason for having only one partner in relationships, but why is the number of soulmates we have always exactly one? Isn't this just a convenient assumption? What if someone very happily married for a long time met someone even better before, and how can they be so sure that there isn't such a person?
