Shelke walked into the club. She had gotten past the bouncers with ease.
Money was power after all.
She wasn't in her usual attire. She had left the dress at home and gone for a more... modern look. She wore black leather flares, a black netted top with the sleeves cut off, a black sting top underneath and long black gloves. Nothing she had on showing colour or life. She walked, so gracefuly, she seemed to glide, over towards the bar.
"Vodka and coke please" she asked, her french accent heavy as she smiled at the bartender, as he got her a drink. She payed him and turned to face the floor. She was hungry. She needed a snack. Not to kill, but enough to keep her hunger satisfied. She sensed another vampire in the room, but she didn't know if it were her place to find them and say hello.

Slowly, Kerrigan walked into the bar. By now, the bouncers were getting used to her randomly showing up when she had questions so rather than waste the time, she had already taking off her belt and holsters, magnums inside and handed it to him as she breezed by.

As she walked into the blaring music, the smells of alcohol, sweat and testosterone filled her nostrils, though she paid it no mind. Right now she had to speak to Rogue. If what she had just heard was real...

Shaking her head slightly, she turned and looked up at the room where Rogue was known to hide out. Hopefully she would be there now for a long awaited conversation. Walking up the steps she paused outside the door, rapping on it softly.

*Rogue walked down from upstairs. She was covered in blood...her arm healing slowly. She walked into a room with a few humans waiting for her. She called some of her bouncers to have some ready a few hours ago. They were knocked out on the floor. She finished drinking, her wounds beginning to heal faster. She changed clothes, but her face...that wound was deep, and three large claw marks still remained. She walked down the stairs and into her private room to find Kerrigan sitting comfortable there. The sun was getting higer in the sky and she was still here. This must have been important.

Her eyes were alit with bright emerald as she entered. "Kerrigan. You wait into the hours of morning. You if you need a place to stay for the day you're welcome to use a room until it is dark...but tell me... why have you come?"

It was abvious she had not slept the entire time she had been there, or for a while before, her eyes betraying her exhaustion. Standing as the elder entered the room, she took a deep breath, looking away from the vampiress.

"Well...to be honest i dont know why I'm here. But...there are rumors going around that the elders have found a way to survive in sunlight." At this her crimson eyes locked into the elder's green ones. Her fangs elongated ever so slightly as she took a few steps towards rogue.

"How?"

*Rogue lifted and eyebrow. She was still thirsty and her body screamed for more blood but she pushed that thought from her mind.*

"Kerrigan, such rumors could very well be taken as true or untrue...but why would I share such information with a hunter? You are clinging to a race that tries to kill what you are every night, and you kill humans as a means to survive...and the light..."

Her eyes grew slightly brighter. She looked at Kerrigan again with somewhat of a questioning look almost asking why she demand this information of the elder when the rift was apparent for Kerrigan's standing as a hunter.
PostPosted: Sun Feb 04, 2007 1:31 pm

"Look, I understand your concern. But i can give my word that the hunters dont even know I am here. I had to know if such rumors were true. If it was merely a side effect, or a full cure...for myself. With all due respect, you have had years to cope without the sun...I havent gotten that far yet. I was doing just fine until this happened to me. I knew where my heart lie when i was a human. Once a hunter always a hunter, but that changed when i turned into what i hunted. I told myself that if there were any hope of..."

At those words, she trailed off, flopping down into a sitting position on the couch and running her hands back through her long black hair. God, she was a mess right now. What was it that she was expecting to get from this meeting anyways? Was she really willing to exchange the life she had made for herself? Part of her said yes, and the other part screamed no...even she didnt know which one to listen to.

*Rogue lit a cigarette. The pain was getting stronger now but she would have to let the thirst rest.
She looked at the floor for a moment...One never really became used to the fact that they would never see the light as much as they loved the darkness. She had dreams for years and in the different coven's she painted her room many times over, paintings of light as well as dark...but the light still haunted her all those years.

"It is possible Kerrigan," She looked at the floor. She didn't know how Kerrigan would be able to even handle the thirst for a few hours.

Sighing slightly, she looked up at the elder, glad that she finally got an answer. But in all honesty she had almsot wanted ti to be a rumor to make things simple again. When there was no possible way then it made things easier to accept. Rubbing her sleep deprived eyes, she look at the elder once more wetting her lips with her tongue before sittingback on the couch once more.

"How?"

*Rogue looked into Kerrigan's red eyes. Kerrigan reminded Rogue of herself somehow, though centuries before...

She took a drag and blew it out and spoke into Kerrigan's mind...for the words she was about to speak were forbidden to speak aloud for the fear of prying ears.

These things which I am about to tell you are forbidden. These things that were myth have come to life because we found what we have been looking for...and there is always a price to our lives...of being what we are, and this you know in full. For our power, our speed, our beauty, our grace, we are damned with an burning thirst. We have found a way to find the light, and it is only for few, Kerrigan. And this is an offer that will tie you to us, and more importantly to me. You are no slave, but a loyalty will be given...keep the hunter's as friends if you wish..but your allegience is to the elders. Nothing is free...

And here it was...the very dilemma that she was hoping to avoid. Even though she knew it was coming, she was not prepared to make a desicion. Though she had said she would do whatever was necessary that was before she thought that there would ever be any kind of hope. Besides...if she did leave the hunters what kind of impact would that have on her relationship with Krii...

Sighing slightly, she stood, looking the elder in the eyes. Her moral dilemma could clearly be seen in the look that she gave the elder, and her voice shook ever so slightly as she spoke.

"Well...I'm going to have to think about it a little bit. I am sorry if I am giving off mixed signals, but this is a huge change that requires a thorough personal soul search before doing something I might regret later." She ran her hand back through her hair as she waited to hear a reply from the elder. She wa sure that she seemed to be acting strange and childish, but this was not somehting that came easily for her. Hell, she was doing good to even be getting up the courage to come see the elder...

*Rogue took a drag on her cigarette. She looked to her intently.*
"Krii will not be harmed if your worry comes to him. Your relationship...though looked down upon...will not be apart of this, so if it is him you worry for...loyalties do not touch upon your love life."

*She took another drag...mostly knowing these things from prying into her mind somewhat open...though Rogue's psychic capacity was limited, she was stronger than most might take her for.*

Damn this woman could read her like a book. Then again, most people could, she was engaged to a psychic and yet she had not elarned how to keep her inner thoughts from being discovered.

"It isnt just that. This could be seen as betrayal to the Hunters, and I dont want them to think that i don't care. Besides...I dont know if he would even want me once I joined up with the vampires. I just...I need some time to think. I havent slept in a while so my mind is in overload." She ran a hand over her face with a deep breath before looking back at the Elder.

Vanessa walked around the town slowly as she observed all of the new places and people.
No humans....good...
She thought, smiling a bit as she kicked a rock infront of her and watched it roll down into a sewer. She soon came upon the building which seemed to be crowded with people moving strangely. She frowned a bit, sencing their carefree aditude. She knew always to be on her guard, no matter where she was.
Vanessa soon found herself standing at the opposite side of the room, leaning against the wall and watching people dance.
She wanted someone to talk to her, but she didnt show it.
Her face lay expressionless as she watched everyone dance and sing along with the music. It was too loud in here for her, but she stayed and waited.

*Rogue took a drag on her cigarette, her eyes still glowing emerald.

"You're welcome to stay in one of the rooms upstairs until the sun goes down. There is blood in a fridge up there if you want it. No one will bother you while you make your decision."
*She didn't mention the fresh humans kept alive in another part of the upstairs.*

Kerrigan nodded, sitting back down for a few moments, obviously pouring over things in her mind. It was almost without warning that she spoke, looking at the the Elder.

"Would I...would I still be able to say in Haven, or would accepting your offer mean I must now stay here? I understand what you mean by a loyalty being given, but i dont know if i could completely abandon my friends and family. I would of course concede to stay my violence against the elders and vampires, but i could never personally do something that would hurt the hunters."
