Lin smiled at Haradhel a bit tired though after the whole fiasco which oddly enough wasn't really that long.

"I was wondering about making a doll for Miyuki to keep her distracted when it's time to go home."

She glanced at Earendil, who still had Miyuki, who was still clinging to him.

"Distracted?" Haradhel smiled, not quite sure what was going on.

Earendil flushed darkly. "Apparently she panicked when I wasn't around when she and Lin came downstairs," he explained.

Haradhel laughed. "Well. I have to say, the best dollmaker here by far is Amara, Ulani's niece that lives up on the mountain," she grinned. "I would suggest waiting until it stops snowing, perhaps this afternoon you'll be able to go. And I would also suggest flying, since otherwise you won't make it back before tonight."

Lin tried to recall if she ever met Amara and couldn't recall at all. Though that sounded like a good plan at the moment.

"Alright," Lin murmured, "We'll do that then. Hopefully also Miyuki will have fully calmed down by then."

Otherwise it was going to be hard to even do the simplest of things.

"She looks fine to me," Haradhel pointed out, nodding at the girl who was snuggling Earendil's chest.

Earendil smiled and patted Miyuki on the back. "She seems calm enough," he agreed. He glanced towards the window. "And it looks as though the snow is tapering off a bit," he added. "It's not as heavy or thick as when Haldia and I were walking."

She had forgotten that the two were out walking, she hoped they hadn't been talking about anything too important when Kelirahc came to get them.

Though she couldn't help but wonder what they had been talking about.

"Miyuki is happy now that Earendil is back, sorry for cutting into your walk."

Earendil smiled at Lin and reached over to ruffle her hair. "Don't worry about it," he grinned. "When something comes up, something comes up. It's not your fault. Things happen. It's beyond your control."

And who knew? Maybe the doll for Miyuki would help.

He was being really good nature about this considering that it was going to be difficult to extract her daughter from him.

She smiled fondly at him, "Thanks, it's just... this is not how I imagining hearing her first word."

Haradhel giggled. "Sometimes it takes a bout of frustration," she told her cheerfully. "The surprise is usually what that word is."

She eyed Earendil. "Though I have to say, in this instance it was far from surprising," she remarked dryly.

Earendil chuckled. "Are you suggesting something?"

"That Miyuki really really likes you," Lin replied.

Somehow she wasn't overly surprised that Miyuki's first word would be Earendil's name. Though seeing as Miyuki had known Earendil for most of her life so far, it really, really wasn't surprising.

Haradhel laughed. "Close enough."

Earendil chuckled as well. "Well, I have to say I'm not overly surprised either. Though I'm sure that if Lin were the one who was gone, her first word would have been 'mommy' or something."

It was just a situation of who was there and who wasn't.

Lin smiled at that, she would hope so. Even though she honestly never wanted to see Miyuki cry again, it was just... too unsettling for her.

Though she had to wonder what Haradhel meant by close enough.

"Well, we should go and see about getting a ride to see Amara then if the snow is tapering off now."

Earendil nodded. "Thanks for the tip, Haradhel," he grinned. "Hopefully we'll be back for dinner. Lunch, not likely."

"Not likely," Haradhel agreed. "Be careful. If it looks like snow again when you're leaving, stay there for the night."

"Will do." Earendil turned and headed for the stairs again, trusting in Lin to follow him.

"Thanks Haradhel," Lin replied as she followed Earendil back downstairs.

She wondered who would give them a ride, well that was kind of a stupid question. Haldia would be the best choice to give them a ride, besides Earendil would like that too. She hoped that the Night Elf wouldn't mind considering their walk had been interrupted.

Once they were downstairs, Earendil headed to the playroom. Amalirahc was playing with the blocks again, as if the entire incident of just a few minutes ago hadn't happened at all, and Kelirahc, Leyenda and Haldia were chatting together while keeping an eye on him.

"Haldia," Earendil murmured, putting one hand on her arm, "would you be willing to fly me and Lin over to the mountains in the valley?"

Haldia blinked. "Certainly," she replied, "though who ..."

Earendil smiled. "Someone to make a doll for Miyuki, apparently," he murmured.

"Ulani has a niece named Amara in the mountains in the valley, who.... according to Haradhel would be the best to make a doll," Lin explained.

She really had to wrack her brain on that one, because she really didn't recall ever meeting Amara and she didn't want it to be a case of her forgetting.
