Lavenderrain[Lavenderrain walked silently into the nursery and sat at the entrance.
She watched Leopardstorm with sad eyes.
Of course Lavenderrain had heard the news and when she heard the kit ask her mother the dreadful question, she felt her heart break just a little bit.]
No mother should have to go through this.. she said making sure she kept out of sight.
[Leaning her head against the brambles, Lavenderrain too, awaited the answer from the golden queen.]

[Hauntedheart nodded in agreement, but she doubted fathom would just leave the other clans alone. If he was now as vicious and she had witnessed, then he wouldn't just settle for attacking one clan. Maybe he'd go after SeaClan or BreezeClan since he had tried to take over SeaClan and BreezeClan had assisted SeaClan during the attack. Although StormClan was also another possible target because they didn't stand behind NightClan either.]
"Well, I guess we won't know until the next gathering" she mewed softly and then glanced at the ground before speaking again, this time in a whisper so only Cinderwing could hear. "Just... just be careful out in the territory."
[The medicine cat wanted to start a conversation with the tom but she had no idea how.For it had been awhile since she had had a friendly conversation with any cat. What should she even say? Hauntedheart took another bite out of the mouse and sighed.]

Where is your mother, it's getting late.

Where can she be, I do not know,
I'm so alone and miss her so.   [Ducky glanced at the cat. 'He is skinny!' Then she looked at her belly, it wasn't exactly plump, but it wasn't exactly just skin and bones either. ' It's not my fault! If he was really hungry, he would have eaten that perfectly fine worm!']
[She gazed at the giant tom, and remembering his question, She looked down at her paws, and muttered,] "The sky took her away, So I came here."
[She looked at the ground, remembering her only family, being sucked into the giant windy thing that had touched the ground ,never to return.] "The sky is mean." [She stomped her paw on the ground defiantly, her blue eyes peering at it, with mixed emotion.]
The owl flies o'er with a who and a who,
Have I a sad tale to tell to you.
Your mother a sorry fate did meet,
She's fallen to the foxes teeth.
Then let me freeze says the shivering bird,
I cannot bear another word.
For all the other ducks have flown
And my sorrow is a heavy stone.

shining in order like a living hymn, written in light.”___________________________(( I forget if med. cats eat travelling herbs before half-moon meets. DX ))
[Honeypaw only flattened his ears even further and flicked his tail to Willowheart in farewell. Sighing heavily, he put the juniper berries into their correct places and turned to the den entrance. He padded lightly to it, sticking his head out to look at the sky. It was nearing sunset, and tonight was the half-moon meet. He subtly wondered if Hauntedheart would even want to take him with her. Emerald eyes scanning the sky, he decided to just go ahead and prepare travelling herbs for her away. He slinked back inside and began to sort the needed herbs.]
“Sorrel...Daisy...Chamomile...Burnet,” [He murmurred in a soft monotone as he pulled the herbs out and mixed them together, along with the other secret herbs that were required in the mix and wrapped them up into a little bundle. Twitching his whiskers when he finished, Honeypaw took the bundle and placed it by Hauntedheart's nest. Hesitating, he padded out of the den and to where Cinderwing and his mentor sat. He dipped his head respectively to both cats before looking up at Hauntedheart with dull eyes.] “Hauntedheart, I've prepared your travelling herbs for tonight's half-moon meet.”
[He meowed flatly, his tail flicking in the direction of their den.]_____________________

ώαɾɾïøɾ øƒ ṉïģhτсlαṉ╔══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╗Birchshadow sighed, her jaws parted in a yawn as she stood up from the spot where she had been sitting earlier. Her paws itched to run. Just run.
She nodded to Hauntedheart and Cinderwing, and quickly trotted out of camp, a bounce in her step. She felt excited. Not only for herself, but for Shatteredfang too. But when was she going to tell everyone else? She almost squealed in happiness. Birchshadow would be an almost aunt! She couldn't wait to see what the kits lloked like, but they wouldn't be born for a moon or two, by the looks of it.
A scent made her stop. It scented of rabbit, but the scent was off. She scented twoleg too!
She padded foward, trying to pinpoint where the scent came from. Her eyes finally rested on a dead rabbit in the middle of a pile of leaves. She frowned. Who would leave a perfectly good rabbit out like that?!
She padded to the rabbit, bending down to pick it up. Her paw began to sting, and she recoiled. What in StarClan had poked her?!
She bent foward once more to pick up the rabbit. She grasped it in her jaws, stepping back slightly.
She felt a sudden crack in her neck, and everything went blurry, the pain growing. Her legs crumpled uselessly under her. She tried to choke out a yowl, but all that came out was a squeak. Had a fox gotten her? But she didn't scent or hear any animal. All she scented was blood. She tried to stand up to
Out the corner of her eye, she saw a starry cat. He was smiling at her slightly. "We must go," he whispered softly.
The pain suddenly dullened until it was gone all together. The two were sitting beside her now lifeless body. Her body's eyes were slightly open, and her muzzle was still drawn in a slight snarl.
She whimpered. "Redshadow, I can't go now! Shatteredfang is going to kit soon! I have to be there!" she wailed softly. Dread was growing in her chest the more that she stared at her body. The jaws of a fox trap were clamped tightly around her neck. She breathed in quickly. It had broke her neck! She looked back at Redshadow. "Please, I have to serve my Clan! I-I can't go! You can't make me!" She yowled furiously, padding away from Shatteredfang's dead brother.
She didn't hear pawsteps behind her, but could feel Redshadow following her. "You know Shatteredfang wouldn't have wanted you to act like this! I have to lead you to StarClan!"
"StarClan!" she spat angrily, looking back at her vacant body. "StarClan wouldn't have let me die like this! I don't need StarClan! From here on, I will never look to the skies again!" Furious, the spirit of Birchshadow bantered off toward The Dark Forest.
She heard a furious growl behind her. "Don't! Once you go in, you will be stuck in eternal darkness, with the evilest cats that have ever lived," Redshadow yowled. He finally caught up to her, bowling her over. She snarled a feral snarl, her arms flailing in Redshadow's direction, claws unsheathed. After a few minutes, she stopped, shaking violently. "I-If you won't let me go there, then I'll stay here!" she growled, pelting back toward her vacant carcass. She felt tears streaming down her face as she sat down next to it.
