Sora tried his best to focus on solely Kairi’s words as she spoke. This presence that was coming off the new girl… it really bothered him, especially since she was so close. It was so much like Kairi’s, but completely the opposite. He couldn’t explain it. So he didn’t try to and listened as his girlfriend told him she’d help, but ended up telling him that she’d made contact with Naminé and that she was talking to Riku. Not good. He’d just heard from Roxas that he was going to go look for her. Destiny High’s big, he told himself as calmly as possible. Maybe he won’t run into them… That hope was shattered as he felt a wave of shock and emotional pain wash over him. His hand became loose in Kairi’s as he stared at the table for a moment, trying to anticipate Roxas’s next move. He must’ve just seen Riku and Naminé. Don’t attack… he told the Nobody, but wondered if anything would actually get through or if the blonde would cancel their connection.

Sora pulled his hand out of Kairi’s and put his elbow on the table. He put his forehead in his hand and held it there, thinking about what he was supposed to do. If Naminé chose Riku… what did that mean for him and Kairi? Would their feelings really be tied that closely to their Nobodies’? Apparently not, since Kairi was with him and not Riku. Maybe he shouldn’t worry about it. As long as Naminé was happy… But Roxas wasn’t going to take this well, he knew. Maybe he’d be the bigger person and just leave Riku and Naminé alone. He hoped that’s what he’d do. But if their connection was shut off or he felt a sudden rush of anger, he was getting out of class. He couldn’t let them fight, especially not today. It was the night before the ball. No one wanted to be all beat up for that picture. He turned to Kairi, concern clearly shown on his face.
”I think Roxas found them,” he informed her. It was probably obvious, though, by his expression. ”We’ll have to wait and see if they can handle it on their own… But… uh, tell me this answer. He’s gonna collect the homework any minute…” His voice trailed off weakly. He was trying his best not to worry Kairi. Yes, this involved her other half, but she still didn’t need to be concerned over something he was sure he could handle if he had to.

((Sora doesn't, but I do! *laughs*))

Aros watched Enid out of the corner of his eye as he went on filling the balloons with surprise Heartless. He didn’t fill them all to create confusion. The light-lovers would think they knew what was going on, and then find an exception. That would increase the panic even more. He smirked at the thought of that. Anyway, he was quite pleased with the awed look in Enid’s eyes as he went about, using his powers. Finally, she spoke, confirming that she’d understood what he’d said. He smiled kindly at her, glad that they’d reached an understanding. He went to a couple more balloons and added some Heartless to them before turning back to her.
”Well, like I said, I have some more work to do,” he explained, pulling his hood over his head again. ”I’ll see you after school, Enid.” He chuckled darkly, then made his way to the gym doors. He had to find Riku.

Hopefully Rikia was doing her job and Riku would be alone somewhere. Aros had a good idea of everyone’s class schedule as he’d been watching them all from a distance ever since he came into existence. He’d used the shadows to hide a faithful Shadow Heartless, which would relay information to him. So he knew that, if this was second period -- which, judging by the time, it was --, then Riku would be in music class. So he released a Shadow to go and inspect the classroom while he headed outside to keep out of sight. It took only a couple moments for the Heartless to reach the room and report that Riku was not there, so he dismissed the creature and continued down the halls. Now where in this school could he be? He had to be outside somewhere, as he knew the silvernette would often skip to smoke. So he started for the courtyard. He was on the opposite side of the school as Roxas, so when he passed the courtyard, he didn’t run into the Nobody. But he did manage to spot Riku with Naminé. He smirked, but at the same time was disappointed. He wasn’t alone. He’d have to wait. So he slunk outside silently and stuck himself in the shadows. He was out of sight, but he could see and hear what was going on. This would be good. He could learn from this situation and know what to use against Riku to bring out his true darkness.

Shortly after Kairi had told Sora about Naminé and Riku, she felt his hand become loose in her's. Her boyfriend then pulled his hand away, put his elbow on the table, and placed his forehead in his hand. He was clearly deep in thought. "Sora? Are you okay?" the Princess asked worriedly. He obviously wasn't though for when he turned to the crimsonette his face showed concern, and she soon learned why. The brunette informed her that Roxas had found Riku and Naminé. "Oh no..." the red head said, growing a little more worried. Sora said that they'd just have to wait and see if their friends could handle it on their own, and then went back to the homework saying the teacher would be collecting it soon. "Yeah, we'll just have to wait and see. I just hope they don't do anything reckless," the Princess sighed in agreement. "Oh right. No problem Sora. Let's see number six... Ah here we go!" Kairi added with a smile as she looked at her paper and explained the question to Sora and gave him the answer.

We pray for our sorrows to end, and hope that our hearts will blend.~

Naminé
Miss Memory Witch

User Image

Naminé could tell that it had been hard for Riku to sit there silently as she'd analyzed all of everyone's emotions and tried to piece and string things together. But it was well worth it in the end. At least she hoped so. He'd said her name before she'd closed her eyes and kissed him before her courage could fail. Maybe he'd been trying to tell her that things had changed? That he'd realized they weren't meant to be. Fear gripped at her, liake an icy hard pain in her chest. Well, if this was to be the last kiss she gave Riku, at least it could be a kiss good-bye.

However, instead of disentangling himself from her, Riku wrapped his arms around her and pulled her closer to him so there was no space between them and he kissed her back. She felt the fear melt away only to be replaced with warmth and when Riku broke the kiss, her eyes fluttered open and she looked up at the silvernette. He was smiling, a look of pure joy on his face and she found the expression to be catching and soon she was smiling brightly up at him as well. Riku was still close to her, his lips practically moving against hers as he told her he loved her, too. She felt the butterflies in her stomach erupt, fully aware that this had been the first time either of them had told the other they loved each other. Before Halloween, she'd been trying to get up the courage but had been unable to. And then everything with Roxas and Riku... but now... now it would all work out. Naminé was confident that even though things would be hard and distant between Roxas and her they'd still remain close. At least she hoped so. Roxas was someone she simply couldn't bear to loose.

Speaking of Roxas... she heard his voice, a shocked tone only speaking the first two letters of her name. Naminé didn't jump or pull back from Riku as she would have before if they'd been caught. Now, pain flit across her face. Pain because of the pain she heard in Roxas' voice. Her eyes closed for a brief moment before she opened them and moved her head back from Riku, turning it to look up at Roxas, who was standing a few feet away from the couple. Naminé remained in Riku's arms for a moment before she turned back to the silvernette. "I... I've got to set this right. I can't keep hurting Roxas anymore by letting him believe I can be with him. I've got to talk to him, Riku. I'll be back soon... After all, I can't stay away from you any longer." She said quietly, manging a faint smile at the silvernette but there was still the pained look in her eyes. Carefully, she slid out of Riku's embrace and rose to her feet turning to Roxas and slowly approaching him.
"Roxas..." She said his name, feeling a sharp tug at her core, seeing how much she had hurt him. "If you don't want to listen I won't force you but please... please give me a chance to explain. You're still my best friend, even if you don't feel that way towards me. Even if you... if you... hate me," she'd had trouble getting the word hate out but she swallowed and continued, "I could never, ever hate you."

[[Sorry, guys. I've been really busy with the play but it's over now. Also some things going on in my life just kinda left me feeling down but it's better and I should be getting on more often.]]

Riku
Mr. Gorgeous "Dark One"

Things would be okay now. He and Naminé would be okay and he would learn to tolerate Sora's other for both the Memory Witch and the Keyblade Master. He didn't want to move or speak, he just wanted to bask in the bliss of finall hearing and finally saying three words. He wanted to stay here but he couldn't. he heard the start of his girlfriend's name and knew it wasn't his: it was Roxas'. The silvernette turned and looked at the blonde Nobody just as Naminé did. His eyes instinctively went into a glare but he quickly forced them to soften. Riku felt sorry for him now, seeing the hurt and pain on his face that was caused without a heart. He didn't smile but he nodded to Naminé, understanding. "Alright, I'll give you a moment," he told her before she slipped away.

He stood up and walked over to her backpack, putting the sketchbook of Hikari's new life beside it and putting one ticket to the Christmas dance in a pocket. Riku would have to find Hikari sooner or later to tell her the good news. She could come and be apart of her family finally. It would also get her away from Alexander. The silvernette walked a good distance away, settling against a tree. He couldn't see the Nobodies from where he stood but Naminé probably could and if they started shouting he'd hear. The silvernette, although feeling much more relaxed from the outcome of the talk, reached into his pocket out of habit and took out a cigarette, lighting it and taking in a long drag.

Sora felt bad that he’d made Kairi worry, but he knew she would have found out eventually, one way or another. They decided that the only thing they could do was wait to see what happened between Riku, Roxas, and Naminé. Sora was, of course, hoping for the best. He didn’t want there to be any fights and for Naminé to be happy. He knew that choice could possibly affect him and Kairi, but the more he thought about it, the more he accepted it. After all, he and the crimsonette were so close, their Nobodies’ feelings couldn’t effect them that much, could they? He didn’t really think so. If anything, it would be the other way around. But he couldn’t count on that 100%, so he kept in-tune with what Roxas was “feeling”.

After Sora reminded her of the problem he needed help with, Kairi told him the answer and he quickly jotted it down. He didn’t understand how she knew all this. He told himself it was because she had a whole year of schooling that he didn’t have because he’d been sleeping for whatever reason. But there was a part of him that had to admit that she was just way smarter than he was. But he was okay with that. Besides, he had other things he had to worry about, like not being killed on a day-to-day basis. He figured that kind of counteracted the whole “book smart” stuff.
”Thanks, Kairi,” he told her with a weak smile, putting down his pencil and handing the assignment down the row for the teacher to pick up. ”I just wish I knew how you knew all this stuff…” He wondered if it would be awkward if he asked her to tutor him. It wasn’t that he was stupid or anything, but he just had too much on his mind usually to focus on school. Maybe if Kairi was there with him, she could help him focus. Or maybe he was just looking for another excuse to spend time with her. Either way, it didn’t matter, because he never asked the question. The teacher told them to open their books, so he pulled his out and flipped to the assigned page. He sighed and turned back to Kairi.
”Feeling anything weird from Naminé?” he asked, still concerned about whatever was going on outside of class.

Aros had watched from the shadows as Naminé and Riku snuggled and did all those cute little lover things. He scowled, disgusted at the sight. That was one thing that made him glad he didn’t have a heart. But he figured love was controllable enough, so when he got his heart, he’d just not use that worthless emotion. He saw Roxas arrive, a chill running down his back at seeing a part of himself. He glared at the Nobody, but it really did him no good since he couldn’t actually see him. But he realized quickly that the blonde wanted Naminé to be his lover just as Riku did. He raised his brows expectantly, knowing the usual reactions to this situation to those who had hearts or who were tied closely to someone who had one. But nothing happened. Riku walked away and Naminé went to talk to Roxas. How boring.

Aros huffed indignantly and folded his arms. This was not fun at all. He’d been wanting a fight or at least some sort of argument. But judging by how things were going, he was going to get neither. But at least Riku was off on his own now. He was a little close to Naminé and Roxas, but not close enough that they would be able to tell what was going on if a little bit of darkness was used to hide them. So the dark boy slid from the shadows, staying out of sight as he got nearer to the silvernette. There was a wave of his hand and it was like the two disappeared. If Roxas and Naminé were to look over, they would just see the courtyard as it would be if no one was there. A convenient talent of his. Illusions seemed to be a common power granted by darkness, or at least some variation of it. Still keeping his distance and his hood hiding his face, Aros stood in plain view a couple yards away from Riku as he pulled out a cigarette.

”Cigarettes cause cancer, y’know,” he commented blatantly. His voice was much like Sora’s, but at the same time, all too different. ”You have enough things trying to kill you. Why tempt death even more on your own?” He wasn’t going to make the first move. He wasn’t going to do this the easy way. Quite simply put, the easy way was the boring way. He wanted to actually try out some of his powers before the big event. But he’d let his Other’s best friend begin.

"You're welcome Sora," Kairi replied after the brunette had jotted down the answer and thanked her. He passed his assignment forward and the Princess did the same. She then heard the Keybearer say he wish he knew how she knew all this stuff. The crimsonette let out a quiet, embarrassed laugh. "I don't know that much," she said, "And if I do, it's probably because I practically buried myself in school work last year. I would anything to keep from worrying about you and Riku, and school seemed to be the best solution." Kairi paused, thought for a moment, then asked, "Why don't we do our homework together from now on? That way it won't be so boring for both of us, and I can help you and catch you up on what you missed. That's only if you wanted to of course..." Kairi hoped that that didn't seem like a silly idea to Sora. She secretly hoped he'd agree though, because it would give her another reason to spend time with her boyfriend.

The teacher then told the class to open their books, and the red head did so, turning the pages until she found the right one. She began reading, but found it a little difficult to do so for she could feel Naminé was having a hard time. The as if sensing something, Sora sighed and turned to her asking if she was feeling anything weird from Naminé. Kairi turned to Sora and sighed as well before answering, "Yeah...First I felt happiness, and now I feel pain. I wonder what's happening..."

We pray for our sorrows to end, and hope that our hearts will blend.~

Enid had finished decorating the hall for the dance.
She walked off the stage and smiled while nodding her head in a good mood that shes finished.
"Aww, i should have took longer so i wouldent have to go back to classes" she said "Aww phooey"

Blink Walked over to the teacher and handed him a note.
The teacher nodded and blink left the class room.
He was eager to check out the gym so he peeked around the door and looked at all the decorations.
he smiled then walked towards a window.

Riku jumped slightly, unnoticably. He didn't expect Sora to be skipping class like the rest of them. He shrugged in Sora's pause, not caring about cancer, but then the boy made a clear point that there were other things trying to kill him. "Don't care, Sora," the silvernette sighed, taking abnother drag of the cig, closing his eyes for a while. He glanced back up at his friend. Something was off. Sora wouldn't take the cigarette deal so lightly, that's why he hadn't told the brunette about it. He was taking it awfully well. Riku glanced back towards where Naminé and Roxas were. Things were okay or at least looked it.

Teal eyes fell back onto the Sora. Why was he standing so far away? Riku shivered some. Darkness? Why do I feel so much darkness suddenly? he thought. He set the cigarette in the corner of his mouth and narrowed his eyes at the boy across from him. This didn't feel right. "Are you mad that I'm smoking, Sora?" he asked.

Marluxia, The Graceful Assassin....

Nobodies. Were they all coming to this school for a reason? Maybe for the Keyblade Bearer. That would make sense. But something felt wrong about them. Especially the one he could see, from a distance, near Riku. The fair, silver haired Riku, the dark Key Bearer. That man wasn't Sora. Something about the way he stood, his presence...suggested Sora. But he already had a Nobody. Roxas. And even Xion, of a sort. Then who was that? He saw Sora earlier. Sora wasn't dark. Far from it. And another thing, he wasn't wearing the same clothes as Sora. The brunette was wearing the school uniform, this entity wasn't. It definitely wasn't him. And it wasn't a Nobody he knew of, either. What was his motives? He needed Riku. Marluxia felt that. But what use was Riku? The pinkette watched with intrest, and, slightly, even a bit of fear. If he somehow was part of Sora, then he was surely dangerous. And someone with no feelings and his powers, someone greater than Roxas, could do almost anything. Marluxia needed to know his plans. He wouldn't be left out of this.

....And Schoolboy.

War, Murder, Slaughter, all it does is perpetuate the hate and anger that plague the universe.
Some beings hate this endless cycle.

>Kurayami<
The Gladiator of Darkness

User Image

A dark portal opened near the bottom of the south cliffs, where the water met the rocks. From the writhing darkness a figure appeared, seemingly darkening the air around him. The portal closed behind the boy as he looked upon the sea, letting the cold ocean spray around him. His eyes could not be seen underneath the hair that covered them. In a slow single motion, he raised his arms to the heavens and leaned his head backward. With this motion his hair finally fell enough to reveal his strange violet eyes.

"Hahaha!" Kurayami laughed quietly as the sea churned around him. The air surrounding him was noticeably dark now, but lightened as he dropped his arms and returned his gaze to the sea. The dark gladiator had been traveling through the dark corridors for some time now, looking for a world from which he sensed growing power, for this world. He turned to face the cliffs and cut off the dark aura he had been leaking, masking his presence. Kurayami wasn't god with plans, but he had enough sense to realize that revealing himself to the world's residents so soon would cause problems. So, he had decided to lay low until he had learned more, but once he had done that he would most certainly seek battle. With a supreme show of grace and strength the boy launched himself at the side of the cliff, easily taking hold halfway up, and then began climbing.

Others revel in it's continuance.
These are the beings who purposely embrace the darkness, slaughtering the innocent and anyone who dares stand in their way.

Sora’s face brightened as Kairi suggested that they start doing their homework together. It was as if she’d been reading his thoughts. He didn’t want it to seem like that was what he’d been thinking, though, or else she might think he was desperate. So he looked as if he was thinking about it for a moment, then grinned.
”Well, I don’t know how much work I’ll be able to get done…” he began, sounding doubtful. Then he laughed. ”But I’m sure I’ll get more done with you helping me out. So sure!” He slipped his hand back under the table and grabbed hers. In that moment, he temporarily forgot about Naminé, Riku, and Roxas. He was just thinking about Kairi then. But just as soon as he’d forgotten, he remembered. So that was when he asked his question.

Kairi replied to Sora by telling him that she felt happiness then pain from Naminé. This made the brunette a little uneasy. That could mean a variety of things. Either things had been going well, and now they weren’t, which meant Roxas could have come in and found Naminé and Riku and now things were getting ugly. If that were the case, then he should be getting out of class right away. But something inside of him told him that Roxas wasn’t fighting or getting ready to fight. He felt this unnatural… nothingness from his Nobody. Either the link had been cut off, or Roxas was really just so shocked, angry, hurt, whatever that Sora couldn’t feel it.
”Okay, let me know if anything changes,” he told Kairi, then focused back on class. The period seemed to drag on, but finally the bell rang. So Sora gathered up his things and took Kairi’s hand again. He’d walk with her to Gym, since they both had that class together. Plus, Lakayna was in that class too, so it would be nice to hang out with her again. And since they’d be in the hall, they could go by a couple of places to see if they could find Roxas, Naminé, or Riku. That was really what Sora was anxious about.

Rikia gave the appearance to everyone around her that she was intent on her work. She only looked up at her desk when the teacher explained more on the lesson. Though she gave the appearance of being a dedicated little student, she was listening intently to Sora and Kairi. Hmmmm, so it seemed as though they could feel their Nobodies emotions then? And vice-versa? Interesting... very, very interesting. Rikia smirked and stored that away for future use. That could come very handy indeed. The class had seemed to drag on forever but at long last, the bell rang. The Dark Princess knew that Aros was not yet through with Riku, he would have let her know or he'd be with her again by now. So, she had to keep Sora and his friends busy.

Swiftly putting her items away in her messenger bag, the Dark Princess gracefully rose to her feet and she was out the door before Sora and Kairi. She began to walk slowly down the hallway, looking over her shoulder to see when the spiky brunette and his girlfriend would appear in the hallway. The moment they did, she proceeded to make her illusion, knowing that Sora and Kairi never turned down an opportunity to help someone who needed it. A boy wearing the Destiny High uniform came striding around the corner and Rikia made the illusion head straight towards her and then bump into her. Putting on a startled expression and starting her act, Rikia took a step back, looking up at her illusion and resisting the urge to laugh as she spoke to it. "Sorry," she said quietly. The illusion boy only looked pissed off and he grabbed Rikia and slammed her against he lockers. In reality, Rikia had done that herself as there was no one there but to everyone around it appeared as though the boy had done this.

"Sorry isn't good enough!" The illusion shouted in a gruff voice as Rikia mouthed the words it spoke, her lips barely moving so it didn't appear as though she were murmring at all. "You should know better than to get in my way!" The illusion slapped her books from her hands - Rikia simply dropped them - and they skid in different directions; papers floating and falling everywhere. The illusion snickered and then continued on his way, walking off and heading around a corner where he simply dissapeared into thin air.

The tealnette slid down to sit on the ground, a shocked and frightened look on her face. Tears formed in her amber eyes, slowly beginning to spill over her ivory skin as she reached out shakily to grasp her books. The Dark Princess was a good actress. Now she only hoped Sora and Kairi would fall for her performance.
