Well, when I poof to Level 1, I won't keep any stats or skills, just the knowledge accumulated. While that can't directly affect combat, it'll be enough to give Jan an edge over any other Level 1 character, since he'll know all the tactics he used to.
(Although stupid high stats at Level 1 would be interesting, since Jan would only have his fists to fight with. OHKO'ing most normal Shinigami with a punch in the face after dodging some swarm of Kido would be silly.)
Anyway, your new profile is lacking a planned Shikai/Bankai, but I assume you'll be sticking to a Phoenix motif, right? Your backstory and other entries look good enough, but Tansen might want something else...
Oh, and if you want to spar with Jan, Zaine, I'm cool with it. It might be a while between posts since I'm starting school now, but I've done the hard bits like moving in already. Just make us a thread~
And, since this is Squad 10 and Patchouli the Elementalist is my favorite Touhou, I'll just take this opportunity...
