After she finished her apple she then discarded the remains and started to walk down to the Maiko quarters... Once inside the room... Hara sat on her bed leaned back and started to daydream... Of what the future might hold for her and her sister Omny....

"Oh! Hello," Yumeko said, smiling at Hara as she left. She had been deep in her thoughts again and felt a little guilty that she had ignored the maiko. Is that my sister? I wonder... she thought as she scraped the last noodles into her spoon. There were so many beautiful maiko in the okiya, it would be a wonder if she ever turned geisha at all. Stop thinking that way, she ordered herself. Plenty of time to worry when it became an issue.

Hara walked into the main room and sat... looking at a picture of her Mother & Father as she sat there looking at the photo... She was remembering the many things her father had said to her... "Never for get where you've come from.... Hara then picked up a hand mirror she had pulled out from her bag... and brought it in to the main room with her...Hara then looked at herself in the mirror.... she took in the whole view of her face... Her Milky pale white skin...Her Golden Green eyes...Which her Mother had always said Hara had gotten from her father.... and that was one of many reasons she fell in love with him....Then she looked at her Redish Brown hair....and then looked down at her full rose colored lips.... Her father always told her she was a beauty with or without make-up.... Hara had never worn make-up before... she didn't see a need for it...."You will be the talk of the hana-machi.... for no one forgets a beauty like you Hara~Chaiki...." She then put the hand mirror down in her lap... She wasn't so sure abouther father's words .... for there were many beautiful Maiko here at this Okiya... Only time will tell she thought...

Tohru finished cleaning up her dish and waved to Yumeko to show her she was leaving. She walked out to the garden and found a spot to sit. She smiled as she felt an inviting breeze go through her hair.
For the first time since she finally arrived at Kazenotanpopo, she allowed herself to truly think and reflect on the things that had happened.
'I met Tora-Onee-sama who is the picture of what I always thought a geisha should be like. Omny-chan who certainly confuses me, but I do believe I was simply acting childish. She is my sister, and I'm sure we will become friends. Yumeko-chan...ah, the other new maiko with me and my sister. I certainly count her as a friend. Hara-san...I don't know her too well yet. But, I will change that. She is also my sister and as such I should know her better.'
Tohru looked up to the sky and sighed. 'Are you proud of me Mother?'
Tohru fought back tears a little letting her mind remember what happened the day she left.
"What do you mean you're going to be a geisha?!" Father had yelled. Mother just smiled a little. She loved the geisha, and we both shared a passion for the arts. "You are a Foxchan! You are to marry who I tell you and whoever will do the best for the business. That is your only purpose!" Father had added. He was so ignorant he didn't realize Mother had taught me so much more than just the skills that most Mothers teach their daughters. Mother had quietly touched his arm and said, "Why not allow her to go? At worst, she runs away and back to us and then she'll marry whoever you choose." Father had thought for a moment and then agreed. "Fine...you're not pretty enough to be a geisha. You'll be back in a month. Go! Get out of my sight!"
Tohru hugged her knees remembering hugging her mother's good-bye. Become the best geisha ever, Tohru. I will come looking for you to see how wonderful you are. You are the most beautiful Foxchan there is. Pay no heed to him. I am proud of you.
She sniffled, the last of her tears falling. She looked at her long soft black hair and sighed. Her emerald green eyes were slightly red now from her crying. Oh Mother... I swear...I will make you proud...
Tohru lay on her back and allowed herself to look at the sky, her mind going blank and allowing her to relax.

Tora let Tohru be alone for a few minutes then followed her path to the garden and sat beside her. Tora's blue eyes were knowing and loving, her long silky black hair blew in the breeze. If not for Tohru's green eyes, they could be sisters. "We never got to truly finish talking," she smiled, trying to get Tohru to smile. "'When's your birthday and what's your favorite animal and color?' You know, stuff like that," Tora added grinning.

Tohru sat up surprised. She bowed sitting down to her onee-sama. "Hello Tora-onee-sama." She said quickly truly surprised.
"Well...my birthday is June 13th," she answered surprised at Tora's questions. "I...I love all sorts of animals, but I love foxes the most... My..my favorite color is blue. And my favorite flower is the cherry blossom," Tohru answered still surprised.
She smiled slightly. "What about you, Tora-onee-sama?"

Tora sat, jaw dropped, "We really could me twins!" Tora laughed. "My birthday is June 7- but I'm twenty," she added. "My favorite animal is a Tiger. It was chosen for me at birth because I was born in the year of the tiger," she smiled. "I like pink," she said pointing to her kimono. "And Jasmine is my favorite flower."

Tohru smiled slightly. "I'm only 16. I chose foxes because they've always fascinated me."
She looked to the sky a second and thought for a moment. "Tora-onee-sama...did you ever think you wouldn't be able to become a geisha?"

"Oh, everyday!" Tora sighed. "When I was a maiko, I worked as a maid in a noodle shop. Everytime I swept, mopped, or dusted that place I second guessed myself," she said sadly, but then smiled remembering Shagatsu. "But then a wonderful patron of mine, Shagatsu-san, gave me a water lilly and said 'You are like this water lily. Beautiful on the surface, yet many things under the water we cannot see. Do not wait to be cut free from the vine that tethers you to the ground. If you wish to float on down the river, then you must cut your own vine.' then he just walked off." Tora smiled remembering how those words gave her hope again.

Rune awoke standing up,she changed clothes,made sure her hair did not fall or get messed. Then walked down stairs,it was another day being a maiko so she went into the kichtion grabbing her self a onigiri. "let's see what I have to do today" she said quietly,as she tried to remember her lessons. "oh yeah" Rune said taking a bite out of her rice ball. She then went back to her room,unwrapping her shamssion,she started to practice.

(( I gues I am staying on Occ becouse I am just to lazy to start something. I slep over at this house and the bed is rock hard.... MY bach and shoulders hurt all over.... ;_; ))

Tohru smiled letting the wind blow through her hair. "My mother told me that I could do anything I put my heart to and truly wanted. That's why I came here...to fufill the one dream in my heart I truly want." She sighed and looked to the sky. "I wonder when I'll be ready to serve patrons and go to the teahouse."

(( Thanks but I got some fish becouse my back was in pain ^_^ ))
She over heard Tohru talking to someone but when she came around the corner it seemed she was talking to herself " Well your mother is preaty smart, most people say if you set you mind, which never works. But with pasion from the heart you are garantied succes." Omny was shoked to say something so nice, What am I doing I should be mean and try to discurage her!. Akward silance passed as her face turned red and she hurried of to well anywhere but there. Hoping Tohru thought she was halusinating and maybe didnt notice.
