Vexis closed her eyes shut tightly, the pain had increased to begin with, then began to gradually dissipate. The markings on her dimly glowed a deep purple, showing the grid of sorts in full detail. "There are still enemies out there, y'know...this IS the Sentinel System after all...their security guards should show up any time...don't worry about me, I'll be fine." Vexis said faintly, remembering the risks still at hand.

Aerclayr shrugged, then set the still-active gauntlet on the ground. "I have no idea why I want to help you," Aerclayr said, his mind having gone back to a place in his memories. "But don't expect this to happen often. I'll lift off."
The ship began moving eventually - apparently this "Layla" was such a person as nobody wanted to interfere with her work or her fights. As soon as they figured out she was dead, however... a hell-spire of vengeance would come down on them.
But this ship was good. They would take it - be gone in a flash. Too bad about the dingy little cruiser - scratched cruiser - but that was history. Vengeance led Aerclayr onwards, into the starry sky.

Vexis felt a slight grin of amusement form on her face at this. 'Not very often, hmm? Heh, apparently the first two times of helping don't count...' Vexis thought to herself, though she was grateful that he did help out. She briefly got up from her corner and stared out the window, her mind racing with various thoughts. Not thoughts of the past, but thoughts of the future. Vexis was never one to wallow in the past, she always looked onward, after all, history repeats itself, anyway.

Layla awoke to find herself far away from her previous location -the rooftop was far above her, to be exact. She felt numb, unable to move even the slightest. 'T-they may h-have gotten me t-this time...but they w-wont g-get away!'
((Still stuck on the Damien/Rosa plotline... xp ))

((Hope a short time skip isn't minded.))
A few hours later, the ship was cruising through space on a set course. Aerclayr walked into the room Vexis had been holed up in, carrying a single sheet of paper. Damien's picture was on it, though the paper hung at the mercenary's side at the moment.
"Are you still facing the risk of becoming dust?"

Vexis shook her head slightly, still staring at the wall like she had been for a while now. "No, its highly unlikely now...the Crimson Moon must be fading back on Solias now..." She explained, knowing that her explanation would probably just confuse him more.

Aerclayr held a solemn expression on his face. But to Vexis, he handed the sheet of paper. "Is that your Damien? If he is, then our bounties are currently riding the same ship."
Aerclayr sat down against a different wall, rubbing a wound he had received fighting off Vader some time ago. Mentally, the mercenary cursed Vader - the fool, the relic from an ancient past.

Vexis eyed the picture closely, picking at her memory for any kind of info she could remember. She squinted her eyes slightly, tilting her head to the side every now and then. "I think thats the guy...not certain, though...my memory isn't exactly what most would call 'the best'..." Vexis finally replied, taking her own sweet time in doing so. "If this dude has that robot thing with him, then it's definitely the same one..." and she still gabbed on, and on, and on. "...but that thing shouldn't be all that tough! It looked rather low-tech from the blueprints I saw...y'know, the easiest way to beat those kinds of things is to-" And she still kept going on, how Aerclayr was going to put up with this for the entire trip is a good question. Vexis finally stopped talking after a good 5-10 minutes of non-stop useless chattering, she sat there perfectly silent, awaiting whatever came next.

Aerclayr let out a sigh in the form of puffed cheeks. "Now that I don't have to worry about breathing you," he replied, "we should figure out where we're going. I know the approximate location of the Atlantis, the ship currently harboring Damien and my own prey. You plan to kill him, right?"

((Its okay 3nodding *been playing zOMG! in between posts*))
"Uh...chya! I wasn't hired just to annoy the dude...though that IS quite fun..." Vexis let her mind float about in it's strange ways, but came back to reality soon after. "So uhm...thanks for helping earlier...and the other day..." She started up, a bit awkwardly -she almost never had to thank someone, half the time everyone is trying to kill her (and we all know just how you need to say "Thank you!" to the people hunting you down...). "...But once this is all over, I'm off on my own way then, I'm not going to stick around afterwards..."

Dr. Erin ran up to Layla, at least 60 Myna units tailing her, color coded teal and green. "Layla! get up! We have to get those intruders! this isn't a facility we can allow to be compromised!" --- Jad nodded to Nina, "accessing the Dark Eagle's communications." The screen flashed up, showing the blocky forms of the Pyresian drones. Jad jumped back, "Drones?!" The one that was onscreen nodded, "Grand Admiral. We were not expecting you so soon. You must come to the Ascendant Dragon as soon as possible. we are currently trapped under a primitive human facility. We also have an intruder we cannot locate..." --- MAI dashed through the halls, a squadron of light blue Myna units following in perfect synchronization. Arriving at the pad, she armed herself with a new weapon. The Mynas behind her scanned it and copied their own. "Intruders in the facility must be exterminated. So DAI commands." --- Dr. Len ran out onto the bridge of the Atlantis, "Sentinel?! You mean you brought me home? Finally!" (Shina tektek (It looks so much like her!) I'd do the others but Jad doesn't look right... Miku's hair... and, well, yeah...)
