Zahar nodded and then remembered she could sign to him. Yes rabbit should be all right. She did not believe in wasting food, wether good or not. Glancing around for a moment she thought to ask. Would you like any help?

Zahar gave him a funny look. Was she considered dead? She was alive long after she should have passed on. Zahar nodded to him and watched the cooking meat. It was dusk now and she could feel the darkness falling across the land, and across her. It's a good thing there was a fire or she would be very tempted to blind her poor companion. She shivered and then looked up at the man. What is your name? I am sorry to have been so rude.

A swirl appeared in the middle of the forest, things bending and reshaping as two figures appeared where there had been none. Lyra took a deep breath, shoving her hair over her shoulder with a wicked little smile. "My is it good to be back on planet." She said, looking around.

"Now... where shall I start?" She glanced over at Sei, raising an eyebrow. "I'll trust you not to remove my brother's mask?"

She looked at him, her expression dark, then shrugged, smirking slightly. "You realize, if you weren't so cute I wouldn't be able to accept that answer." She told him, twirling her finger once in the air and disappearing as easily as that.

Chae had little time to be worried, there was a huddled and shivering thing in her arms needing to be tended. And if there was anything that brought the mother out in Chae...it was the unique combination of helpless, needy, and undemanding.

Carrying the kitten back home was a thankfully short trip. She wasn't sure she could have carried her far.

"You're a big girl." she grunted, after toeing the door open and slipping in to the room. There was a small alcove off to the right that she used for a living room area of sorts...although it was technically a spare bedroom. It would do for now. "I'll let you rest in here, is that allright."

The kitten opened her vibrant eyes. "Why?" she asked. "Why did Charlie bring us here?"

"Because you apparently have little else to go." Chae answered. "And because we can take care of you, I guess."

She didn't answer.

*That's fair enough.*She replied, leaning her head against his shoulder and saying nothing further. Words were merely making things more complicated to them both. What did words do to clear the murkiness of their sitution or offer a relief to them both? Nothing. Nothing said could.

She couldn't even offer him comfort. It would be a lie. And she was never good with those.

Sei had told her to talk to Chae. Perhaps she should. Perhaps once and for all she should cut the ties that were strangling her. Perhaps the freedom would be worth the temporary pain.

its an herb that comes from beastlands surrounding the great spire upon which Sigil is set. dont worry about the places i am sure you have never been there. anyway they are found around the base of the spire, hard to get to and there are many beasts that roam there, hence the name. anyway it adds a wonderful flavor and relaxes the body a little bit. makes you ravenous. some say it has some magical properties. he shruged there, all i know is it tastes great and can only be found there and in my more current home plane other then here. anyway, eat up!, he cut himself a piece and bit into it enjoying it thoughrougly.

he handed another large hunk of the rabbit to her. eat lass, eat. he began to eat the last half of the rabbit for himself while holding the other chunk out to her. he was giving her the best meet and would eat off the bones for himself. so what are ye running from lass?
