I hate precalc/intro to calc. It's the only grade below an 85 I've ever gotten in a course. Ever. D: A 77 FTW!! But the teacher's style of teaching totally didn't work for me. And I've already fulfilled my graduation requirements for math (actually I didn't even have to take precalc) and science.
So WHOO for taking AP English and AP World History, hopefully AP Macro Economics, creative writing, college-level French through a university in high school thing and then chorus and orchestra. I hope colleges still think I challenge myself. I just don't want my average to die senior year...which it will if I take an AP math course (this year's teacher teaches both stats and calc). I don't think the no math thing will be a problem, since I know I want to major in English (and double major/minor with something history-related).

Atrasententia >_> I failed half of my Algebra I class.... I failed Algebra twice. The first semester I passed with flying stars cuz I would talk to my teacher about EQ and WoW. But when second semester came round he got a hair up his a** and failed me Dx. So I had to retake it the following year and still failed. It truly was a miracle when I passed high school.

Algebra really isn't that bad...but then again, I tend to use it quite a bit when I calculate circuit specs. Now then, to keep the mods happy and get things back on topic...

Veldrin the Shadow Algebra really isn't that bad...but then again, I tend to use it quite a bit when I calculate circuit specs. I'm very, very bad at math. And once math developed letters into it it all went to hell. I would look at the board and I swear it would look like alphabet soup. X.X The only math class I remotely understood was my Business math class. There we learned how to balance check books, budgets, and manage money. It was actually really fun.

I cannot recall one time I have had to apply algebra to my actual life.

I use it in electronics, so that would be my real-life application.

If Futurama ever featured Drow in their episodes. I think they'd look like this:
