Woah! really!
Then that cartoon Halloween movie I watched when I was 10 WAS ACCURATE!

Did you ever see the one I'm talking about?
It had a kid who was suddenly deathly ill on halloween, and couldn't go trick or treating (his moms was CRYING I'm pretty sure), so his friends had to go without him, and they were a skeleton, a witch a mummy and...a gargoyle?
I forget, anyway they go to this scary old guys house, and he has a tree full of jack-o-lanterns with people's faces carved into them, and their friend's pumpkin is in danger so they climb the tree to try and save it, only they start along on this wicked explanation of the history of Halloween and their Halloween costumes.
I forget who was day of the dead related, skeleton boy maybe, (he was kind of leader of the pack.)
But in the end they save their friends life by eating a quarter of a piece of skull candy and giving up a year (or some) of their own life. Then they get to travel back home and their friends pumpkin/soul is saved and his light is on in his room and he waves out the window.
