-sighs a bit and stares down at his tea- I know...last time...I had a lot of things on my plate. I mean...I still do and always will. Except this time I'm not alone, I have Sil and Lavi to look after...not that they really need it, honestly.

I have a lifetime to take care of myself, but I have learned that friends... companions... can be fleeting and that I must appreciate them while I have them. -Rubs her thumbs on the top of his fingers and leans over to press a very brief kiss to his lips.-

-has no time to even react to the kiss, almost thankfully, completely caught off guard and having no idea how to react in the first place-
-swallows a bit after she pulls back, his throat dry- I'll..be plenty safe. -looks at her for a moment and then looks away, and then back again- I...should be getting sleep. -still completely dazed, like a deer in the headlights....finally reaches up to her cheek, cupping it for only a moment, his thumb making one sweep across her skin- I'll return, Anita. -turns and exits with nothing more-
