Thanks for all the support guys. whee
We're meeting tomorrow at Chili's in Seguine, Texas for a late lunch and then my family is dropping me off in Victoria so I can spend a few days with my old college buddy ... and then I'll be at my parents' NEW home (new for me anyway) for a day and on Friday I fly back to Japan.
Today we had a late lunch with my dad's brother and sister in Jackson, MS ... and then drove to Dallas. It's been a long day so I'll say goodnight now.

This has happened on other occasions recently too, but for the past few hours, every now and then this cannon type sound will go off in my neighborhood. (My college used to mark special occasions like the end of the term with the firing of a cannon.) It sounds really close too and I can feel the aftershock. I can't figure out what it could be (and it's too dark and I'm a little too nervous to go looking around for the source.) There were just two within a few minutes of each other. Any ideas what it could be?

Any ideas what it could be? There was this noise a few months back. It sounded like a tank driving up the street, but it would last for 2-3 minutes straight. I got curious enough to go outside and look around, but didn't see what it was. Then I thought... Humans are stupidly curious creatures. Any other animal would run and hide in it's home (or something similar), but a human will go "What's that?" and go looking for it... even if it might kill them. sweatdrop If some alien race wanted to off us... just put a box that can't be examined with a single button and and label it "Do not push."

Streamjumper hilaroma Okay, so Christmas cards will be very late. I'm still working on them, but I don't want to just half-a** them and send them out tomorrow. They will arrive towards the end of January. Sorry guys... gonk So I'm still packing for Japan. As usual, it's down to the last minute and I'm not going to finish everything I needed to. Poo... emo AG Christmas cards are NEVER late... they're just Holiday Backlog. I'm really amused with this concept... xd heart

Dr. Fomite Streamjumper I'll take this one, Bart. Save yourself for the tough calls. Clearly this artist needs to take a break from the moonshine/angel dust benders while drawing. Also, I suspect they might want some corrective surgery... perhaps a double hand amputation. *ears perk*
Did somebody call me?
Wait. I know her stomach is undead property, so that calls for the Inverse Scare... But what about the hands? I don't know which katars to get out of storage! gonk I've got magic fingers! [/Washuu]
I'm sure that didn't help in finding out what Nabs-hands are. Could be holy... could be very very ebil.

Ashram McDuck HAEY AG!!11 Just wanted to drop a post ... been travelling all over the place since I got home and haven't had time to do Gaia and such. Hope everyone's enjoying themselves! EDIT :: I'm probably going to meet a girl tomorrow who I've been interested in for quite a long time. Her parents surprised her with a plane ticket to Texas so ... LUCK I NEED. Or something ... It's Scully, for those who know her. Good luck Ashram!

TweedleKeys Oooh oils. I'm too impatient for watercolors though, I can't imagine oils. I really like the end results I see though. sweatdrop My dream had a lot of different segments but I thought the most entertaining part was where the main guy (who I don't recognize from real life), having once again returned from wherever, significantly aged (but it wasn't that bad because we were children, so he was now in his 20s with metallic silver hair), said he should go over what he found out from his dimension jumping travels in the playroom, because there were lots of garden gnomes there to protect us. And indeed, along with stuff like the rocking horse and the blocks and the 70s decor (though I did not grow up in the 70s), there were garden gnomes everywhere - on top of the blocks, the rocking horse, the afghan-throws, peaking out from the closets, as if someone in the house was a David the Gnome memorabilia collector. ZOMG, David the Gnome. heart eek

TweedleKeys TweedleKeys When I started getting database/pagination errors, I thought maybe it was time to quit backlogging for the night... but then I thought, did Kin give me this hat so that I would quit so easily? NO! FORWARD!!! scream scream scream crying Even through this horrible 'One Piece is better than Naruto' debate.... FORWARD!!! gonk crying scream Poor One Piece, you're still enjoyable *pet pet*Oh goodness, I remember that. It was a time, long long ago, in which I had seen neither show (other than small bits of OP here and there) and didn't really know what the fuss was about. sweatdrop Don't worry, hila loves One Piece too. 3nodding heart
