((That just reminds me of the oregon trail. You can't carry more than one buffalo back to the wagon train, but they're just so darn easy to shoot compared to everything else that you kill them all.))

((Wow. Last time I played I made it all the way without losing a single member and then my little brother shoved me right as I was rafting through the rapids and caused me to crash into a rock.))

Richard entered the bar looking a bit ruffled around the edges, but he seemed to take very little notice. His tie was a golden hue matched with a black dress shirt, and black slacks over black shoes. His hair was a tad unkempt, and as he noted the young woman named Trina in the corner, eyes closed and breathing shallow, he took a seat at the bar, setting out his leather book and opening the manilla folder. He started to work right away, writing down everything he had seen in the young fellow he had spoken with, along with notations on the lad's accent and tone. He was getting closer at least...much closer...the other papers in the folder were mostly notes followed by sketches, all yet ot be put in the leather book. He had thousands of such notes, all in his room at the academy, locked beneath the stone floor by rudimentary magics. Those he had with him were mostly of the occupants of the bar, Sketches of Baizou with Ellie, ONe of Tomo with notations, one of Maara, of Lily, of Sapphire and one of the woman named Trina, without many notations, as he didn't know much about her. He had one of the Lady Crystal as well, but...that wasn't really research...just a sketch. Richard paused halfway through his sketch of a short red haired boy of maybe nineteen or twenty, the face unfinished but the notations complete. He looked at the them, grey eyes thoughtful, then went through and picked up the one of Trina. He looked at the few notations, then compared them. Same notes on the slight accent... Richard thought of the few times he had heard or spoken to her. The quiet speech patterns and pauses...like music...Hmm...

Caradoc came downstairs, toweling his wet white hair as he moved. He let it lay flat over his head and smiled at Richard. "Oh, hi!" He greeted, walking over to the bar. He pulled out a screwdriver and spun it between his fingers.

Trina was sitting still, eyes closed as she tiredly drifted along the thin thread that kept her rooted here, awake. Curious...very curious...she paused for a moment, then paid attention to her other senses. It was raining still, she could feel it...but...Trina's eyes flew open, sensing someone in the bar. It was only Richard, looking at her. And then he noticed she had opened her eyes, and looked a bit embarrassed. "Sorry Miss...I was just thinking..." He said, lowering his eyes. Trina blinked once, waiting for the translation in her head, then nodding. "That's alright Sir..." She said, but she did not close her eyes again, merely looked out the window to watch the rain.
Richard felt very guilty for watching a woman unsuspecting, but he was hit with a realization, and he was aching to ask her things, but her last response had effectively distanced him. He looked back to his notes, comparing again, then placed them all back in the folder hastily. He would ask her later he guessed....she was clearly exhausted.

Lady Crystal came downstairs gracefully as usual. Smiling politely she walked over to Richard and gave a small curtsy. "Good afternoon, Richard," she said, remembering Lily's teasing from the night before and glad her blush was conceled by her illusion. "How are you this fine afternoon."

Caradoc watched Crystal come downstairs as he pulled back the synthetic section of skin and began working on his right arm. She didn't greet him, so he didn't return the favor. She actually intimidated him a little.

Caradoc finished his adjustments and flexed his hand before looking back up at Crystal. "Not to badly, miss." He replied to the woman as he replaced the skin. "And yourself?"

Caradoc nodded casually and gave a thumbs up, "Cool." He said, glancing towards the kitchen. "Was there anything I could get for you?"
