The heroine never cackles like that, though... How do you explain that, Michiyo? That sounded like a dastardly cackle if I ever heard one! *Slides down off of his back and gives Michiyo a teasing smile.*
Well, if you're the heroine... I suppose I'll be your faithful sidekick. I don't belong in a romance novel... It's too impossible to get a happy ending. I'd be trapped in pages for the rest of eternity.

*Frowns at her mention of happy endings* That sounds depressing. You got to believe in a happy ending, however would we get through the day otherwise? *Feels her heart sink a bit as, for a moment, the severity of their situation as Exorcists seeps through the cheerful mood*

No no no no. *Puts her hands on her cheeks, wanting to fix the sudden drop of her cheer* Not like that! I mean... you can fight for a happy ending, Michiyo! I'm just happy with what I have, so why wouldn't I want to help someone else find a happy ending? *Pushes at her cheeks trying to make her smile again.* I'd be a perfectly content sidekick.

Well..*Cheers up a bit, but still a little doubtful of whether she really is content* .. Well, if you put it like that... alright. *Smiles at the thought of Sil as her sidekick* It is a pretty boring job. There's not a lot of romance novel going on, I'm afraid.
