Phoenix Goliathane It's Christmas. You should just ban people for no reason whatsoever. scream On another note: Merry Christmas! The Secret Santa kind of scared me (have phone notification turned on), and I got like four text messages in the span of a minute from Gaia. I almost thought it was the boyfriend spamming my phone again (he does that from time to time), but apparently it was the secret Santa. Whoever it was: Thanks! XD I really liked what you picked out. Skizz: That pocketwatch is amazing. Ah, peace at last, now I can finally read my books! ...We all know how this story ends.

Anyone remember the MARVEL TEAM UP when like, x-23 and speedball and dagger and others went to an alternate timeline to the past to stop chronok from killing all the superheros and got stuck there? What happened with that?

What's funny is, squirrel girl is saying all the s**t WE knew about. Penance is the lamest thing even. Speedball didn't get spit on like tony did. He's got no reason to be emo slit slit. I know, but in this case Marvel just waves the magic wand and a massive change just gets dismissed. While it was a change that disgusted me, its this kind of utter disregard for just about everything that made me sick enough to distance myself in the first place. Honestly, I think everything was planned. like some a*****e villian planned it all. Stiltman did it. he's not REALLY dead. but yeah...it's like the superboy prime changes and changes to the lanterns and parralax and ion. really lame.

Streamjumper If they could work Speedball (old, awesome Speedball, not the emo-tastic failfest we've got now) into the mix, I'd consider coming back to Marvel. But given the developments of Civil War, I'd say that I'm more or less done with Marvel and sticking mainly to manga and manwha (damn, but some great manwha are hitting the US... We've always had a reasonable amount, but stuff like Banya the Explosive Mailman and to a lesser extent Phantom are ******** win) with the occasional bout of superheroes from DC and Vertigo's usual mindbending. It is sad, but my first comic book company drove me away in their attempt to win everyone over.
Batman (Grant Morrison writing with his usual ******** with a healthy dose of Frank Miller baiting satire, a tweenage genius sociopathic son, and a team up with his new father in law Ra's Al Ghul)
Scalped (Vertigo's answer to The Sopranos- on an Indian reservation. Sex, drugs, gambling, shootouts, and organized crime.)
The Midnighter (Monthly badassery from the gay Batman knockoff who makes Lobo and Deadpool cry like bitches)
That's one each from DC proper, Vertigo, and Wildstorm. Stream, you really need to look into Casanova from Image. It's Michael Moorcock's Jerry Cornelius pulled inside out with Morrison level ********, De Palma hedonistic excess, and Tarantino film geekery. Matt Fraction is the new b*****d god of comics.

Ashram McDuck WOO CHRISTMAS!! We had our Christmas dinner two nights ago ... Roast Pork, Sweet Potato Salad, Fried Okra, Croissants, Green Bean Casserole, Cherry Supreme Pie and Chocolate Pie. And Christmas breakfast was made of unspeakable amounts of win and delicious. GETS Money - (used to snag Tekkaman Blade Collections 1, 2 and 3 and GTO Season 1) Spiraled Planner (with my name on it) Candies Psalms Calendar Hope everyone has had an enjoyable day so far. Good to be back? Especially for the food, I'd guess.

Unfortunately, it's gone from a gift for us brothers to a gift for the family. rofl My parents are totally digging the sports games, Mum for tennis and Dad for Golf and Boxing. So I may be buying my own sometime in the future. We also got SMB Galaxy, which we haven't even started in on yet.

TweedleKeys I ended up making lemon bars anyway. (Well, I'm mid process, waiting for the base to finish cooking so I can add the lemon part.) I went out to the tree with working gloves on and I took up a branch and started picking the ripe lemons... then I saw through the leaves, right near me, something grey, round and fuzzy... I totally freaked out and gave my neighbors a good curse to hear on Christmas day. It turns out it was just the gloves. I guess I'm a little jumpy sweatdrop Meanwhile, the Challah is going through its second rise. Brushing with egg and then trying to cover is something I'm not really as prepared for as I would like to be. sweatdrop We'll see how it works out. (There was a small ant skirmish this morning too. stare ) Luffs to the person, if they're reading this, who found me shoes that match better! heart My item-fu is weak, I would have never found these myself.Mmmm... Challah.
