Thanksgiving blues because my family left to go hang out with other family and I'm stuck close to home because of work.... and like... it's kinda a long story but... I dated this guy for a while, but since he lived so far away we decided to break it off (because we couldn't fly to see each other that often... stupid plane ticket prices and s**t). Either way, we're best friends and have been for like, three years... and he was supposed to get sent to Afghanistan, but they called it off this summer so I was really happy... but he just found out that he's definitely going after all for a year.
My dad has been deployed three times so you figure I'd be used to it, but it still sucks every time. Tonight just wasn't a good night for the news I guess.
