I vote for sad ending cause I think Mike's just being a big baby about everything and is making life hard for himself, so he deservs to go down in flames of misery. Just sayin.

I voted for the happy ending cause I'm just a hardcore Optimist like that. As much as I love me some angst, I love it more when a character overcomes his/her issues, learns something from it, and becomes a better person, thereby earning his or her happy ending. :3

I voted for a happy ending. Though I'm thinking more like Me, Myself, and Irene conclusion.

Least that's what I believes.

This too is sacred... Does our vote have any actual bearing on what happens in Mike's plot?
Sir Uppercrust: Have hope! Babies are born as a completely clean slate, mentally and emotionally. We are continually growing and adapting and learning from/with our environment from the day we get out of the womb 'till the day we die. There's always room for improvement if the person is willing to do the hurting it takes to actually grow. ...love as thou wilt

I know that we adapt to our surroundings, which is to say no person is rotten from the get go, but there is a point at which a person will always be that person even if moved to new surroundings. And even so, humans are inherently terrible destructive beasts. Given time no matter what the conditions are or what they know of the world and its history, man kind will destroy itself.

You're generalizing way too much there.
