Pretty much what I expected, but it seemed suitable to let you guys know there was the option.
I've seen Jans Viper around here, but like most of the faces here, I only know him from seeing him post in this or the other OOC stuff. Didn't recognize the nickname, or see him posting that he didn't know whom Vahn was.
Yeah, I dunno. I think I saw you breifly back in BA when I had that match with Degs; that was my first PvP match ever. Other than that, I pretty much only know you from hanging around near you. I don't get around that much, or hear about things beyond my immediate area. I see more by just lurking places where I am but don't post often.
The whole concept amuses me because for a long time there was a little group I primarily rp'ed with, series of unrelated rp's the BT forum style, regardless of if they be in the forum or a guild full of unrelated non-mainstream/cannon rp's. We all more or less knew each other, but with my record for making and joining rp's, I was the big name in that for a while. Now I just don't make rp's constantly, and these people are in so many places at once the things don't move as constantly, so I've expanded my horizons.

I can see why.
I wasn't doing so good then. I was among the newbies to be certain, and had built Rivven to basically be the anti-noob character. Unfortunately, this meant he could be irksome for more intelligent people or people on a different standard than the godmoders he was meant to survive/defeat while being less powerful than.
I kinda was too caught up in my own little ideas of dramatics/artistry to take a full on logical stance at that point in my rp'ing career. And, I mean, I'd just started roleplaying not long before then and it was my first time outside mostly consistant people/preferences AND my first time in PvP so...
I screwed up, and it was to be expected. XP

I've been out of the lime light for much too long, truth be told. Though you'll be seeing a lot more of myself and my character Ikibe when the tournament is over. =3 All of you will.

Tac dropped me a note on the forefit I (eidolontea) took before I left the country..and I guess she wanted one first? I dunno.. I'm fighting him now..
So anyway, long story short, I'm moving tomorrow..painless move hopefully. I might be gone a day or two..depends on how bad the city got slammed by that storm.

Commerce is still in the first round, so none of this has any touch on me. But damn, it's nice to see some smiles on everyone playin' in the newly relaunched brackets. Cheers everybody!

Toastbusters Commerce is still in the first round, so none of this has any touch on me. I'm cracking down on that one, most of the fights are closed now, only a dozen or so are still open. Most of those are continuing on at a steady pace, and those that aren't will meat the swift hand of Oz.

I'm in one of the ones that is still active, and ours hasn't even hit the climax yet. In fact, I think it's the longest thread in the whole commerce bracket, and damn is it intense. Mine's been pretty tame in all regards so far. The few that lasted past the first couple posts never really had any of those exceptional jaw-dropping moments to them. cry

...okay, this is getting rediculous.
Everyone's thanking me.
This thing still had life in it, it just needed a jump-start. You were all thinking it, I just did it. Don't thank me, thank yourselves. You've still got interest, even after how long it's been. No amount of coordinating could ever bring that back if it was gone.
