Anita: Under normal circumstances, I wouldn't have taken it back. But the entire thing came as such a shock to my system...even though we had been fighting...I didn't expect her to go that far...on some level...I still can't believe that she did. -looks down at his tea for a moment before looking to Anita-
The way she fought for us to get engaged in the first place...it just feels like such a sudden change. -sadness still apparent in his eyes, as well as some confusion-

That is very young though, to decide that you want to spend the rest of your life with someone... and I don't know her past... but if she hasn't been with many men before that is doubley true.

I know myself that it's a young age to make that sort of decision...and it is true that she hasn't been with many men... -is now feeling quite discouraged after saying out loud what he already knew to be true, his tone dropping significantly-
