Krii'Ouse's eyes were locked onto Lydia's body, and the amasing paragon of beauty she represented now. As she was she put even Aphrodite to shame. His eyes would not move, and his body wasn't sure it wanted to. He was faithful to Skiaska, but his eyes couldn't look away. She was a magnet of sight.

His mind reached out to Kerrigan. *Kerri, You have to help me! I can't move! It's like she's so beautiful she's paralysed my body! Come over here and move my head so I can move!*

"With pleasure," she muttered softly, setting her drink down for the moment as she walked over to Krii'ouse. Shaking ehr head slightly, she looked to Lydia, giving her another small grin before taking Krii's head into her hands and sharply turning it to the right. Though she was forceful, she was careful not to hurt him. At that, she turned and grabbed her drink once more. She was getting a little queasy.

"I need some air, I'll be right back," she said, looking over the gathering in her apartment. With that, she turned, grabbing her drink and walked out onto the balcony, leaning against the railing, she downed the rest of the vodka in one gulp, setting the glass down carefully so it wouldnt break. She closed her eyes as the wind whipped through her hair, blowing the streaks of black and red into ehr eyes softly as she stared out at the moon.

Krii'OUse thanked her, and lifted his bottle with his mind to his hand. he sipped his rum, and followed Kerri. 'I'll come with. I need to breathe...' he said, smiling. He followed he rout to the balcony, and sipped his rum again. 'So, how're you doing here, Kerri?' he asked, leaning against the railing. 'You haven't checked in at Haven in a while, how've you been?'

His smile went to w frown as he readied to tell her how he'd been feeling. It had been dormant, and he hadn't told anyone, but his feelings were wavering...

"I've been....working a lot harder than im sure i should. But there isnt much else for me to do now-a-days." A soft laugh escaped her, though there was no real emotion showing on her face. She didnt look at him, simply fidgeted with her fingers as she dropped her gaze from the sky to the streets below, looking over the hustling mortals. She left the Haven comment to rest for now. If he asked why she had not been there, then she would tell him, but until the time, she felt that she did not need anymore lectures about how even though she was a vampire now, she was still a hunter and everyone still loved her the same, and blah blah blah.

Turning to glance at him for a moment she flashed him the traces of a smile, "What about you?"

'Well...' he started slowly, knowing she'd perk up and ask again if he left it at that. 'Well... I've found out that I'm descended from some priest who aeons ago trapped this daemon and bound him in stone... so now this guy wants my head... His name is Astaroth, and he's an Ancient Daemon, one of the Ancient General of Hell. For God's sake, why'd it have to be one of them?!' he said angrily.

He drank some more Bacardi, and continued looking at tthe floor. 'Well, I was fighting him, and some guy shot us both, hitting me with a dart. I konkoed out, but Esou stayed stable enough to get me and Skiaska.......' he slowed, and knew she cought on, '.... home, and then gave the uninjected dart that had reflected off the daemon's scales, to Gail. She found out what it is, and just before getting here, she messaged me, telling me it's a chemical that disrupts Immortals abilities for s few days. So Esou's gonna be out of it for a while. All the while, I'm just like I was before the Lunite War, if not weaker...'

He left it there, knowing she'd press on the topic of Skiaska, as he'd made it unwittingly evident something was up.

She listened to him, not saying anything until she was sure that he was done. Turning to face him, she alid a gently hand on his shoulder, giving him a smile. "Hey...Krii, youre a great hunter! Far better than i am to say the least...you have nothing to make you think that you are any less of a hunter. The Lunite war was one point in our history, making it only a small part of your strength. You were stong before then, and you continue to be strong now."

Once again, she removed her hand, leaning back aainst the railing now as she brushed some stray hair for her face. "How is Skiaska doing anyways? Havent heard from her since i help you guys out with that daemon rush...things alright between you two?"

He knew it would have been inevitable... He'd been having doubts... and now he had to voice it. 'Uhm......' he started thinking he'd lie, but he never was too great with that around close friends. 'No.' he bluntly said. 'They aren't... at least not on my behalf... I'm not sure I know if I love her anymore... I mean I don't see her... she's never around, I don't get messages, and I'm just not sure I can keep going. I don't know what's going on... I think I'm going to have to break it off...' he said sadly. drinking more of his rum. It had been Kerri's last one, he had to make it last.

'I'm lost, Kerri...' he said. 'I don't have Esou, I don't know if I have Skiaska anymore... Who can I turn to? Who's out there to help me along when I fall? I can't do this alone! I'm not Human! I'm something else now, and I can't deal with it alone! before this I could handle being psionic, but being Lycan too? I just can't play that card by myself.' He started to tear. It was a strange thing to see, for the tears shined brightly as they tore down his face from his luminescent eyes. He pulled his hood down, and looke dup, his hair now whipped by the wind a bit, too.

'What do I do?' He finished the Bacardi, put it on the railing, and curled up into a ball.

She looked at him, not really sure what to do. It was not that she did not know how to comfort him, she knew that she could do that, but in her present state she was unsure of exactly how to relate ehrself to this. The truth was that she knew EXACTLY what he was going through...well minus this whole relationship thing.

She took a cautious step forwards, lowering herself so she was kneeling next to him. Gently, she placed her hand on his back, lowering her voice so that it was no more than a soft, comforting whisper. "Krii...you dont need anyone to pick you up when you fall. We chose this path in life because we refused to be the dumb mortal that sat around and did nothing while those who killed the innocent ruled the night. We chose this becayse we are strong. but i know for a fact that everyone in that room right now would do anything for you..whether you asked it of them or not. You are like my best friend, and you know that i am always here should you need me."

Her eyes flashed from their green to crimson as she felt a surge of emotion go through her. Somehow she felt that her words were not quite enough to convey to him exactly how she knew everything was going to be alright. And while she wanted to console him in any way she could, she was not sure if she could give him the kind of help that he needed right now. She had never really gone through an emotional breakdown like he was experienceing before, but the feelings of being lost, and alone were very real...especially due to recent events. Unable to think of anything else to say, she simply kneeled next to him, gently rubbing her hand over his back in an attempt to console him.

Will gazed sadly upon Kerri and Sethe as they stepped out for some fresh air. No matter what they said, he still believed that he'd failed both of them horribly. Sethe had been turned into a lycan and horribly injured during an operation that he'd personally planned and led. Kerrigan obviously hadn't felt enough at home amongst the other Hunters even before being turned, and despite all that he'd tried to bolster her self confidence it hadn't been enough. They were his dearest, closest friends. Sethe was his brother, and he'd admit that when he first met Kerri he'd fallen halfway in love with her although nowadays it was really just friendship. Thye were his best friends, and he couldn't help but feel that he hadn't done all he could for them.

Tabling his inner demons and recriminations for the moment, Will turned to Astrande. "Yes, I got the message. My orders stand, we need to keep our heads down. Action on our part would suggest our guilt, and we'd be destroyed by overwhelming numbers. It's a fine line we walk, hunting but taking care not to piss of the supernatural community as a whole off too much. We need to try other options before war."

His attention now on Lydia and Eden, he smiled and shooed them away. "Just a minute of privacy please, ladies."

Pulling Astrande aside, he whispered lowly to the eight hundred year old vampire. "Listen, we need to have our voice heard, for our case to be made to the Elders. I'm going to try and gain an audience, open a dialogue. You and Krii'Ouse are in charge until I get back. If I don't return, have the Hunters decide between you and Krii"ouse who should be the new leader, and then do as you see fit. These are my orders, Astrande. Carry them out, and no arguements. If a peaceful solution can be reached between the other races and ourselves, it will mean fewer body bags. And that's a goal I'm willing to risk my life for."

Breaking away from the vampire, Will smiled at the two women again and moved forward to hug Eden. "I love you sis. I've got some stuff to take care of, but I'll see you back in Haven soon. Promise."

'God, please don't turn me into a liar, not right after I found her again.'

Releasing his embrace upon his little sister, Will turned to Lydia with a smile, a bit of his fear and longing for her showing in his expression. Giving into impulse, especially since he knew that later tonight he might be walking into his own death, Will leaned in a gave Lydia a tender kiss on the cheek. His breath rushed across her cheek as he whispered in her ear, a note of sorrow in his tone as he wondered again if he'd see any of them again or if the other Elders would just kill him on sight. "Goodbye, Lydia."

Then he turned, walked out the door, and faded into the night.

Liora twisted the butt of the cigarette into the ash tray, twirling it nimbly inbetween her fingers until smoke no longer trailed from its tip. A content smile curved the edges of her lips subtly upwards, and her eyes seemed to glow playfully once again. The power of a good smoke never ceased to amaze her; the nicotine made her feel smooth, sensitive, playful. Smoking gave her peace when there was none in the world; for that alone, she was grateful.

Casting a final gaze around at her dimly lit abode, Liora stepped outside into the main hallway once more. She was careful to close and lock the door securely behind her; the key she placed in the case beside her trusty laptop. Given the circumstances, Liora didn't know when she was going to have a chance to return to her apartment again. It didn't matter much; the Haven obviously was well-endowed with anything a woman like her could want. If the blood in the cryo freezer was any indicator, Liora knew she would have no difficulties shifting there come the full moon. Of course, she might still have to lock herself in a room for those horrific nights, but it would be better doing so there than doing so in her den. Such thoughts she found unfavorable, so she shifted her mind to the task at hand. Liora had an apartment to find.

Another jog up the stairway was in order as she headed towards the address which Astande had presented her with. The sheet of paper she held in front of her for reference, and her gaze shifted from it to the gold-plated door numbers in the hallway as she sought the particular room. Once she arrived at her destination, Liora raised her hand to knock but hestitated. She swiftly gave herself a mental check-over before rapping softly four times on the door.

It was hard for her to comprehend what she felt as his lips touched her skin and as his voice whispered in her ear. Though she did not blush, her whole body felt aflame and her desire, fueled by Rogue's dream, made it hard for her to resist the urge to rip both their clothes off and drag him to her room.

No, she had to keep these emotions held back. William did not want her that way...but had she not seen the longing look in his eyes when he looked at her? Could he possibly...could he possibly want her as she wanted him?

"Goodbye, William." she murmured to him, unable to keep a bit of heat from her whispering voice. Only he would have heard her words, the bit of heat she could not keep back. Why did those words sound so final? She wanted to rush after him, to protect him and to make sure he remained safe. But before she could do or say anything else, he was gone.

Lydia felt...empty, after he had left. The passion and desire remained, but the curious warmth and happiness that had flooded her body when she saw him was now gone. Wanting to cry, run after him, or just do something to ease this empty feeling that was truning to pain, she retreated to her room. Mischief slipped in quickly before Lydia finally closed the door.

Satans Nightmare
She watched Will with a rather amused look in her fac before leaning over to Lydia and whispering softly to her, " Hey Lydia, maybe it would be best if we would go put some clothes on...I think we are starting to get to them." She laguhed slightly as she drew back, smiling at the two men for a moment, "If you'll excuse me, I am going to go put something on..." Looking at Lydia as if to tell her to do the same, she turned and started walking into her bedroom before she heard another faint knock on the door.

"My, arent I popular tongiht," she muttered, laughing softly before approaching the door, brushing past Will and Krii in the process with a mutteres "excuse me", and opened it to reveal another woman standing in the hallway whom she had not seen before. "Umm...can i help you?" she said, motioning for the woman to come in so she could close the door. Though she had invited the stranger into her apartment, she immediately watched her every move for anything suspicious. After she had stepped inside, she quickly closed the door once more, glancing over the party in her entranceway.

Eden was alittle confused to see a woman in the doorway with no clothes. However, she didn't flinch or wince, she simply looked into Kerri's eyes with sincereity and smiled discreetly, afterall she'd done this before too, Will wasn't going to find out about that though. However, her mind was the exact opposite as soon as she caught sight of William and Krii. She'd want to know what the hell they were up to later.

She politely stepped in, careful not to make the vampiress feel trapped and then finally replied in a normal tone, " Um, I'm a new huntress and I followed Will here... After that notice he sent out I was alittle worried..." She had definately made that sound like she was a stalker... She was his sister, but surely this woman didn't know that, though everyone seemed to be able to trace her resemblance to her brother almost instantly. Then after she replied she quickly added, "If I'm interrupting anything I can leave, it's no problem." That comment was more to Will than anyone, but she looked at Kerri as she said it.

"Hello." she said to the person who had just come in, still unaware that people would find something amiss if she went around with no clothes on. She was taking a hint from Kerrigan's look and walked somewhat dejectedly to her room. What was wrong with her body that everyone wanted to cover it up?

Once in her room, and after she had put her notebook away, Lydia now had to decide what to put on. Looking through all her new clothes and puzzled with the fact that she could now choose so many things for herself in this new life, her hand brushed against a particular garment and a flash of conversation went through her mind. Yes, she would wear this.

Coming out of her room again, she felt a hint of mischevious delight in the back of her mind. On her legs was a pair of tight, black jeans in a flare cut that were very low rise, almost to the point of being on the verge of falling off. Showing just above the top of her pants was the dark purple ribbon to the low rise string bikini panties that went with the bustier she had bought. Her top consisted of an overlarge, white button down with short sleeves that was unbuttoned and was also on the verge of falling off. Under the shirt was the bustier.

Wearing the bustier was worse than not wearing it, because now William and Krii'Ouse did not have her nakedness as an excuse to look away from her shapely body, and the bustier hightened that shapeliness. Her waist was smaller, her breasts rounder and more supported by the undergarment, and it was obviously made to attract male attention. Overall, it made Lydia, who was nice to look at to begin with, even more gorgeous and appealing.

Walking over to the group again, her hair bounced in a loose ponytail to better reveal her clothing and the necklace she wore. It was the one Kerrigan had picked out, with the silver charm drawing attention to her soft throat, sensual collar bones, and still farther down into the valley that the bustier made of her marvelous cleavage.

Edith offered a quick smile and polite 'hello' in return to Lydia. She was alittle confused by her sudden disappearance, but saw that she had gone to cloth herself. Edith had forgotten that both the women didn't have clothes on and felt somewhat odd. She didn't know either of them, but knew that one was named Lydia, and one Kerrigan, or Kerri.

As Lydia came out in her bustier, Edith suddenly remembered that she had forgotten to change out of her bloodly white tanktop. The crimson red liquid had now dried, and was more of a rusty red than crimson. The blood was mostly gathered at her rib, where she had broken it. She was glad that Krii had repaired it, but now felt embarassed to be in anyone's presence, especially Lydia's, since she had such fine clothing.

((Is Kerri dressed yet?))

Krii'Ouse looked at Eden with the Bacardi in his right hand, balanced between his index funger and thumb. He sipped it, and greeted. 'Hey, Eden. How'd you get here?' he asked, sipping his drink again. He looked to Kerri and remarked to her explanation. 'not excited... just uhm... okay fine... damn it. That's why I don't want to look, cus I'm faithful and not...'

He was cut short by Lydia retruning in an outfit so amazing that Lydia now would make Kiera Knightly look ugly. He dropped the bacardi, and it stopped shy of the ground, as his subconscious saved the precious fluid within it. he was stunned beyond stunned. He was floating on the edge of coma. 'Oh God...' he said, not able to help himself from looking away. His subconscious screamed out at the nearest person, probably Kerrigan, *MOVE MY HEAD!!!! ALERT!!! M'AIDE!!!!! MOVE MY HEAD!!!! BREAK VISUAL!!!! I REPEAT!!! MAYDAY!!!!*

Eden shot a pleasant smile at Krii, and answered with the same pleasant voice as smile, "Hey Krii. I got here by following you two." She noticed that Krii seemed alittle avoidant of looking at Kerri- likely because of Skiiaska, but now that Lydia had clothing on there was really no reason that he couldn't look at her.

As her brother hugged her, Eden knew that he was unsure of himself. Despite his acting skills, he'd never been able to fool her. She was very aware of tone and Will's suggested uncertainty. Also, he had dismissed her and Lydia, so abviously he hadn't wanted her to hear this, meanwhile Krii was out on the balcony having a breakdown...

Edith felt so out-of-place. She just wanted to take off and burst out in tears. She'd always been somewhat of a softie and it stayed with her even as she'd reached her first year of adulthood. However, she refused to burst out, it would just make more complications than there already were.

She turned and saw Lydia who now seemed almost lifeless as she watched her brother leave her after his kiss. It hadn't taken much for Eden to figure out who was Kerri and who was Lydia. Deciding to do what she thought was best, though she was not certain of it, Eden gently imagined hugging Lydia to comfort her. They were complete strangers and yet Eden would be embracing Lydia as if she were her sister. Perhaps the hug was more to satisfy her own uncertainties, but she would have embraced her with intentions of comforting Lydia none the less. However, Eden decided that it would make poor Lydia feel more awkward than needed and she had resigned to her room, completeing Edith's decsision for her.

Eden just wanted to scream and chase after her brother, but he had suddenly left and this time she really had no leads... After all New York was still fairly new to her. It was frustrating for Eden to just stand there alone doing absolutely nothing... She wanted something to preoccupy herself with when suddenly her baggy pocket moved. A mew was heard and Eden went into a little panic.

She showed no such signs of panicing but her mind was a completely alternate story. Suddenly she realized that Midnight was just a tiny kitten and she was sure that no one would mind her once homeless kitten now tagged along with her, having no where else to go. Eden grinned a crooked grin and started to gently stroke the mewing kitten that had been attntion-deprived since Eden had arrived at Haven.
