McKenzie had half fallen asleep shortly after arriving to her room. She snapped awake though at the sound of the howl. A shiver went down her spine at the sound. The wolf wants company... She groaned and sat up, putting on a warm set of clothes before setting off to the woods edge, mumbling to herself. "This had better be good..."
*The wolf stood and wagged his tail happily when he saw the woman approaching. He trotted over and nuzzled her hand in greeting* I'm glad you came. I was feeling bored and lonely and thought we could go for a run through the forest together.

McKenzie had half fallen asleep shortly after arriving to her room. She snapped awake though at the sound of the howl. A shiver went down her spine at the sound. The wolf wants company... She groaned and sat up, putting on a warm set of clothes before setting off to the woods edge, mumbling to herself. "This had better be good..."
*The wolf stood and wagged his tail happily when he saw the woman approaching. He trotted over and nuzzled her hand in greeting* I'm glad you came. I was feeling bored and lonely and thought we could go for a run through the forest together.
McKenzie eyed him tiredly before failing to suppress a yawn. She was tired... the last few days had just been draining. Her intial desire was to say 'no' and go back to bed. However, after a quick debat in her head the thought of a run sounded appealing. Really appealing. There was a pull from deep within her to run. So she nodded in consent and shifted. She shook herself and trotted in a little circle. "Haven't been a wolf in a while." She stretched and took off at a run before the male wolf could respond.

He leaped over fallen trees and dodged boulders with absolute grace* There's something I want to show you, follow me. *He lead her to a clearing with a small stream of clear cool water that sparkled in the moonlight like a blanket of diamonds* This is one of my favorite spots to come to. It always cheers me up. But recently, I've found something else that brings me joy. *He looked at her and seemed to smile with his eyes*

*The male followed, running alongside her* I have one more thing I would like to show you. *He ran until he came to a cliff and stood at the edge. Fifty feet below lay the river outlined by the trees of the forest. In the distance mountaintops towered above the treetops. The moon illuminating everything. He walked over to a bramble of bushes and thorns* This is my den. There is an entrance to a very large cave behind these bushes. You are welcome here any time.

McKenzie shook her head and stood. She wanted to run more. "Not unless you can bring someone back." She started as a trot and went into a run once more, not knowing where she was running to or why her heart wanted to run so badly.
*The male followed, running alongside her* I have one more thing I would like to show you. *He ran until he came to a cliff and stood at the edge. McKenzie glanced around at the den and the surrounding view. "Nice." She sat and looked over the cliff and then up at the moon. The temptation to howl was strong, but she didn't. It would only provoke more questions from the male wolf. She sighed softly and noted where the moon was in the sky. "I should be getting back. I've been out late tonight. Thank you for showing me your special places." She stood and stretched before taking off at a slow run, back toward the castle.

One that obviously don't make any sense. I'm surrounded by Deatheaters and they all have their wands aimed at me. Then they just vanish and that's when I wake up. *He said. He intentionally left out the part about Faith standing in their place and casting the killing curse. He didn't want to worry McKenzie any more than she had been already*
