"Yup"
He nodded, smirking slightly at the memory.
"He couldn't really say anything about it either"
What had been hard was returning to Arioch's chambers after and pretending nothing had happened.

((Mine was worse XD))
Arioch grinned. A moment he could tease Joe and enjoy it.
"Heh, Joe a grandfather....why does that scare me?"
Alexis chuckled and snuggled her father, resting her legs in Andras' lap. Her as a mother scared her...

He frowned at Arioch then.
"Because you know what I'm like at a father.."
He grumbled. As far as he knew, he sucked at the parenting role and he couldn't see himself as much better grandparent.

"Oh right..."
He grinned again. He was going to have a bit of fun with this. Just teasing him a little about being a grandpa...Yet Ari hoped Joe would figure he could help Alexis in preventing some of the mistakes he had made. Ah something to point out later....much later. Let him just soak up the news his daughter was growing up faster then either of them wanted...
Alexis yawned softly, tired from having thrown up so much. Now she was just nauseated but her stomach didn't heave. That was a good thing. Now she was simply comfortable laying in pretty much both her father's and her dragon's laps, closing her eyes for a moment.

"You should sleep.. "
He pointed out to his daughter, who seemed to be exhausted from the events. Not that he blamed her, her mother had spent quite a bit of time in bed feeling sick too at the beginning.
It would take time to get used to his little girl having grown up, he certainly wasn't ready for this and only hoped she would be.

"And what will you do?"
She asked, still claiming his lap as she now peeked up at her dad and absently reached over to play with Andras' chain. A small distraction for herself.

"I'm going to take that dragon of yours for a walk"
He told her as though it was normal for him to do that type of thing whilst petting her head.

She pouted looking at him.
"I want him in one piece and untouched when you bring him back...."
Something in her tone said her daddy should say yes to that. She felt bad that Andras had a broken nose.

"I'll bring him back in the same condition, don't you worry Little Missy"
He assured her, scooping her up into his arms and carrying her to her bed, where he tugged her in, before motioning to Andras to follow him before leaving Alexis' room, waltzing straight past Arioch. He was up to something, and keeping a lid on it
He got up and followed Joe, somewhat wary of him. He didn't believe for one second that Joe wouldn't continue taking his frustration out on him, but Alexis had allowed it.
Once they got to the kitchen, he started making a coffee and whilst getting stuff out for it, started talking.
"I hear you ran into an old aquaintance of mine earlier.. wanna tell me what happened?"
He was suprised that Joe actually spoke to him and that nothing else had happend.. yet..
"the Lady simply pointed out the truth, Sir"
He smirked. So the dragon knew what her name meant, it was a pleasant suprise.
"And what truth was that?"
"that I hurt my Mistress, Sir"
He looked at the ground as he spoke. Knowing she was pregnant, and had been at the time, made it harder to accept that he put her through that.
He looked over at Andras then, trying to see what else could be hidden behind the plain words of the dragon, only to find that Arioch had been right. Nothing that Alexis hadn't wanted had happened.
"Do me a favour and next time my daughter wants tp experience pain, come and see me, I'll get her an expert"
He could not hide his suprise at the turn in the father's attitude, but nodded.
"yes, Sir"
"Good"
He turned back towards the coffee then, Andras, though bloody, still looked like a walking fantasy and he was trying to help his daughter here not get more frustrated.
His voice turned serious then.
"You're the closest the baby has to a father, so make sure Alexis doesn't sleep with anyone who's attached..."
He poured his coffee before speaking again, slightly absendmindly.
"I made that mistake and it cost my daughter and me her mother, I don't need that to happen to her again, especially with Domenia on the prowl"
He took a sip of the still hot coffee before turning to face Andras again. The kid just couldn't help but look sexy making him wonder how much damage the kid would have to sustain before he looked less screwable.
"Now get outta here and back to her side before I do something I'll regret"
He adviced Andras. He could feel himself aroused already and knew it wouldn't take much more for him to either hurt the kid out of sheer frustration, or simply take the kid himself.
"yes Sir"
He assured Joe, he'd make sure his Mistress only slept with single people if her father requested it. His reason was vague at best, but it was more than Andras had expected being used to being told what to do without explanation. It meant that the command would be carried out even more so because it had been important enough to warrant an explanation, albeit a vague one.
He studied the ground as he felt Joe's eyes study him. He didn't like the feeling, it felt like a predator was watching him. Relieve washed over him as Joe dismissed him, and he bowed to him, forgetting that he had been told not to, before fleeing the kitchen and returning to Alexis' room, where, after knocking briefly, he entered.

Alexis let the breath she was holding out as she reached for Andras. She wanted to curled up and let him simply hold her, despite being tucked in. She also wanted to make sure he wasn't hurt further.
Arioch took a side trip to Raven's room and knocked on it lightly. He gained a faint reply and entered, careful of any possible flying objects. When none went to his head he breathed a small sigh of relief.
She rolled over and looked at Arioch, her legs facing the balcony whereas she faced him. She looked better, at least more at peace even though she was thinking of the past event.
Arioch paused in what he was about to say and now wasn't sure he wanted to play fetch. However, with Raven being the mother, it was only fair she knew about Alexis' current condition.
"You might want to come downstairs...Maybe face Joe again?" He treaded lightly but he was going to be blunt. Or try too.
She blinked. "Why is he here? What's going on?"
"Shhh...Calm down. He's here because of Alexis...uh not my place to say so I'll let him tell you.." He wondered where Song was. He wanted her to know too.
She frowned. "What about her?" Now she shifted from her position to sit up. She just found out she was a mother. Without memory to back it up, it settled easier....She actually didnt feel angry...but rather at peace. Maybe Song's song had something to do with it.
Arioch sighed. "It....You just have to come downstairs..."
"Alright." She left her bed to walk out the door, being followed by Arioch as they made their way downstairs.
Raven blinked when they entered the kitchen and in a way she was glad Joe had coffee in his hand. She took a very deep breath and let it out slow. Their last encounter...just didn't seem to end very well. "What is Arioch talking about? What's wrong with alexis?"

As she reached for him, he took her hand and settled next to her, just to be there for whatever she needed him for.
One look at him would find that he hadn't come to further harm, though he hadn't had a chance to clean up either, leaving streaks of dried and drying blood on his naked upper body and face.
Finally, he was left in the kitchen by himself and took the time to enjoy the coffee and let his mind wander.
The idea of starting again somewhere else still held appeal, but he knew that his daughter needed him here. There were things he could do to protect her that she had no idea of, including dealing with the demoness that had come to haunt him.
Thus, deep in thought of what might be and what needed to happen, he didn't realised Raven had walked in until she spoke.
"Huh?"
He asked, not entirly sure what Arioch was talking about either and rather suprised that she'd sought him out to talk.
"Nothing bad, she was feeling a bit under the weather"
He took another sip of his coffee, getting his thoughts together, before actually looking at Raven.
"How're you holding up?"

"Wonderfully for the news you gave me. Are you sure I'm her mother?"
She asked. She was unsure. He said he was but how did she know for sure that she was the girl's mother?
Feeling under the weather wasn't anything new to her. She'd felt that way herself sometimes.
She snuggled as close as she could without falling off the bed. It seemed most of the nasuea she experienced earlier had passed. She seemed satisfied he wasn't injured any further, outside the broken nose...
Yet looking at him was a different story. "You could use a shower..." She said softly.

He nodded.
"Yeah, I'm sure.. I was there when you gave birth to her"
He was suprised at how well she took the news. In his mind, he had envisioned the worst possible reactions from her and each day he hadn't told her, made those reactions worse.
He held her close to him as she cuddled him. No matter how long they had been together, it still suprised him that she cared for him enough to stop him from coming to further harm.
At her observation, he smiled.
"I'll have one once you're ok again, Mistress"
He assured her. He didn't want to leave her side, with her father gone she'd be left alone, and he knew she didn't like being left alone.

Alexis just shook her head. "If you don't get one now, I'll loose it again..."
She pointed out, feeling the nice little rumble in the stomach again as a little reminder. Surely she could control her stomach for a few minutes...
Raven simply thought she was so calm because of Song. Otherwise she wasn't sure how she would react.
"So my lack of memory was really my memories stolen..."
Her head hurt a little but not much. All those reactions and memories she desired...it was all missed because of something that happened..

It was then that he actually bothered looking at himself, and sheepishly smiled back at her.
"I get the hint, Mistress.. I'll go clean up"
With that, he squeezed her hand, then let go and went to clean up.
He nodded, now looking as uncomfortable as he felt, remembering how she had 'lost' her memories.
"Yeah, he did a great job... "
