shikaru was gathering chakra, and with his eyes closed replied
she's never around when ya need her, why? shikaru began moving swiftly, staying in 1 spot. wonder if sensei's here

Tenchun sighs and gives up on finding stellar for now. He walks back to his spot and prepares to try and do some chakra training. He decides first to try the tree climbing approach that he saw aa genin doing once. He walks a few feet infront of the tree and sets himself up and then runs straight at it and tries to run right up the tree.

Tenchun got just over half way up the tree before he lost his footing, he quickly sliced a mark with his kunai and jumped away from the tree and flipped and landed on his feet. Not bad fora first try i guess...

Tenchun reset himself by the front of the tree and went to try again. Running head on at the tree and the heading straight up it again.

Tenchun almost reached his goal of the branch but when he reached out tograb it he lost his footing and fell, he managed to slow himself down by digging his kunai into the tree and avoid a crash but he realized if he would of waited a little longer to reach he would of had it. Dangit! so close.
