Risq, I dropped you an email with info about your account. You'll be able to get it back, it's just a process of waiting and waiting...

For everyone else in the guild, here's some tips to avoid being hacked:

1. Do NOT have the same password on multiple accounts. Also do NOT have the same password on your email as you do on your accounts.

2. As should be obvious, don't share your password with anyone else.

3. Always log out to end your session, especially on a public computer.

4. Standard Mods/Admins/NPCs/Devs don't need your password disclaimer goes here.

5. ALWAYS check the URL if Gaia suddenly asks you to log in again. If you get a PM from someone asking you to vote for them in the arena, and when you click on the link you suddenly seem to be logged out, LOOK AT THE URL. This is a very common scam. Be wary of links to ripway, tinyurl or places that look like Gaia but are slightly different (galaonline, gaia10online, etc)


IF YOU ARE HACKED:

-If you're online when it happens, contact an ONLINE MOD IMMEDIATELY and ask for your trades to be disabled. This saves your stuff AND a lot of time for getting your account back. Any Mod can disable your trades (But not Mod Assistants).

-Fill out the Hacking form. It's here:

That is the ONLY way on Gaia to get your account back. PMing any Mod will just result in them sending you that link. Fill out the form with all of the information, and be sure to send it with a mule account that they can get ahold of you on readily.

-Wait. It takes about 60-90 days right now for a hacking form to be processed. Any damage done to your account (name change, used to troll, used to phish, spent all your gold) can be undone. Stolen items may or may not be returnable. Prepare for the worst, hope for the best.

Wow, I thought I was the only one trying to be hacked.

A few weeks back, I kept getting emails every hour or three about how my main account The Brigeeda Rocks was temporarily blocked for entering an incorrect password. But, as you guys may know, I haven't really been frequent Gaia as much, so I was WTF? until I realized they kept FAILING at it. Multiple times.

Thank God for my esoteric and complicated password I suppose, eh?

My luck is a fickle b***h.

Speaking of Texas comic shop. If anyone come to Austin, you have to check out Austin Books and Comics. it a really large comic shop, like they have more mangas then i've seen in any place book store to date (about over eight shelf ). and the manga only add up to about 1/4 of total book collection. Pluse rare comics and toy-

yeah i know. The worst part it, I think he did it to spite me. because noramly, if they need to pee in the house, they do it in an empty room and hope we don't find it. But no, Desy (the dogs name) stood between my brother and I (while i was typing the message above). When suddenly i hear this noise like "wwwwssssssssss" I look down and he is pissing right in front of us. I just couldn't help but laught and be angery at the same time. But like I said, I think he did it to spite my brother and I for not paying attension to him. lol

...See, it's photos like these that make me want to get a pair of pet rats again. With their a-freaking-dorableness makes me just want to squeeze them with love until their little lungs collapse.

Anyone know if it's possible to ban a guild from inviting you? I just recieved an invite from a guild this kid sent me, who had repeatedly tried to get on my friendslist at least 5 times within one hour. Even after I REPEATEDLY declined his request. I finally had to send him a PM explaining why I didn't want to be his friend, and why I was banning him.

The Brigeeda fears she may have to repeat this process once more...-_-;;
