Releasing her, Jak stood up quickly. "If thats the way you want to play it darlin, have fun." Picking up his hat he shrugged and made his way to the door.

Lacuna shrugged and laughed with a nod.
"Then so it ends darling", she said walking over to the bar to get one final drink.

Akki watched the pair from the bar, her face confused when Jak kissed Lacuna then walked out.
What's going on? I know he likes her...doesnt she like him?
As Lacuna came back to the bar Akki turned to her, her eyes troubled. "Lacuna? Why did he leave? Why didnt you kiss him back?"

She sighed. "He said that I was his.. I told him that I didn't want to be his.. I wanted to be eachothers.. And so he left.. He treats this whole thing, me and him, like a game.. I'm done playing games." Lacuna glanced around the bar deciding to make her own drink this time.

I'm tired of watching him play his games, so I'll make my own, with my OWN rules.", she sighed and poured herself a little mix, "I do not like to be toyed with, and I certainly do not wish to be apart of his game either", she shrugged and sat behind the bar. "Did you want something Akki? I'll try not to poison you, promise."

"I dont think he's playing a game...not with you anyway....and I dont think he would object to your game...if you included him in it."
Her brow furrowed as realized what she said. "I'm not saying this right..."

Akki eyed her unhappily. "Of course you do...but you're so good together....I see the way he looks at you when you arent watching. He likes to flirt and play with the guys...but not with you, and he hasnt looked at another girl since he met you."

Lacuna rolled her eyes remembering Ophelia quite well. "Let me put it this way.. Would you like it if Lawrence went around kissing a million other men? Honestly?", she took a sip of her mixed drink and pleased with it looked into the glass.
"I'm not saying I'm completely giving up on him Akki, I'm just saying, I'm not going to sit back and watch him continuously flirt. All work and no play, ya know? Plus.. Suru seems kind of nice.. In an odd sort of way..."

Akki sighed deeply....she understood Jak's game, she'd seen it enough, but Lacuna seemed to be playing something else, with rules she didnt understand.
