Must resist the urge to start a green horde. redface

Yes, resist. We need more Imperials. Besides, if you really can't resist I can always hook you up with a pile of Orks. wink

Why resist the green proppa way? More modelling options, scratchbuilds and "kostum" models.

cause it's so much more fun to waste them... nothing like watching a horde get shreaded... then again nothing quite as sad as getting mauled under their numbers... my poor guardsmen can't compete with the ugly brutes... xp

Link: That's pretty much what my new ork army will look like, sadly not that effective... But fun! Blood Axes is rollin' in! Ordered the FW Mek not long ago and the upgrade kit for the Battle Wagon, and making it a bit Blood Axey, might also order a tank for them as well from FW or some upgrades for the BW as well.

For boyz and nobz I'm going to use bitz from microart studios, they make PERFECT blood axes.

I can't really start a second army when I'm still working on my first one. Besides, I don't have the money for it anyway. crying

Pfffft, then hurry up and finish your current one.

If you find the current one boring... Just get a side-project like most others untill you feel like going back to the old one! : D

I'm not bored by my Guard army and I don't want to rush them. I want to enjoy every bit of it as I work my way to a nice points value.

Once I'm in better financial straits I might consider buying the odd non-Guard model I really like looking at, such as Ork Storm Boyz and an Ironclad.

I like the current Storm Boys, their boxed set has a lot of character and good stuff in it. I especially like the grots that come with it.

I got a box of em as a secret santa gift from a friend who knew I was into Orks. I gave him Dan Abnett's The Founding. The only two Warhammer gifts of the whole event, and they were for each other, kinda funny.

Anyway, I loved the kit, glued a rokkit to my grot'z back and stuck him on one of the orks. I wanna get another box, and see to converting another 10 or 30 more to run on the table. I also need some more stuff to make power klaws out of! Sadly the stormboyz box didn't come with a cool sculpt of one, and I hate how weedy the standard issue klaw is.

I'm not really sure if I even like stormboyz over my bikes, but I'd like to use a squad since I got these really nice models from my friend.

The Nobs boxed set comes with quite a few actually. I think three at the very least, not a 100% sure.

Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised. A squad where every model can potentially take an item, it'd be nice if the box came with more than one. Though I feel the GW standard power klaws are really lame and small. Just like the boyz box nobz that use the same legs and arms as regular boyz. Just feels really off.

The Nob boxed set came with three or more beefy power klaws I think. I do know that it comes with five big choppas, some kustom shootas and even cybork parts.
