"Do you really fear us more? Didn't stop you using us as a hostage... And, can I truly trust your word? You broke it before..." I say, slinking behind the professor's back, brushing my tail against his leg, running a clawed nail across the blade, just to make an intimidating metal sound. Mostly, my goal is to instill him with fear. Desu's strange stockholm syndrome for him is likely making him feel too at home. The only reason he grabbed her was because she was the only person who wouldn't just have bitten his hand and killing him. Well, her or Batboy.

"Fine, lead on," I say. "Next time one of these fools does something like that I'll punch them in the nose." I mutter under my breath.

Jasmine: "I will not do it again," The Professor says solemnly. "Please, just get me my fair trial..."
Everyone: "Hey, guys," Laci calls. "Um...his thoughts are saying that...he's getting attached to Deta."

My body freezes and my expression shows a bit of surprise when Laci randomly calls out that the Professor is attaching himself to Desta.... "Oooo...k...?" I say in an unsure manner... "Well, that is awkward..." I then mutter to myself. I then think, Laci, don't you dare announce anything I think...

"Oh, you'll get your fair trial..." I say, walking back slowly. I then suddenly spin around with a slash to his neck. "The gods will oblige."

Desta: Laci nods.
Jasmine: The Professor cries out as you swing at him. The blade doesn't sink in very far, but it cuts his jugular nonetheless. He falls back, gasping for air as he begins to bleed out. "No!" he gasps. "Please..."
Desta: The Professor looks at you mournfully. "I'm—sorry..." he gasps. "Forgive—me!"

My eyes grew wide and I cried out in surprise when Jasmine slashed the Professor's throat. I was frozen in place as I watched the Professor plead for his life that was pretty much definitely over and looked at Jasmine in simple utter shock. As I continued to process what was going on, I begin to glare at Jasmine. "A fair trial?" I growl from deep within my throat. "What the f*** in your mind even says that's a fair trial?!" I sprinted and leaped toward Jasmine, only intending to pin her to the ground in my anger as I bared my fangs.

I attempt to dodge out of the way of Desta's charge, unwilling to kill her, but also unsure of her true motives. "His fair trial would have been him being judged guilty by all the nations and sentenced to an excrusiating death. I showed mercy, if anything." I reply.

"You just saved me getting my blade dirty!" I say cheerfully to Jasmine. "We've been wasting too much time with him anyway! Now let's keep going before something else happens!" I say.

Shi'ita falls onto the ground and wraps himself in himself tightly, covering his eyes and ears, "No, I don't want to see another person die." he cried out amongst himself.

I was about to respond to Jasmine, but then I heard Shi'ita cry out. I felt everything in me slack as I looked at him with concern and almost pain. I hissed at Jasmine and bared my teeth before making a swipe at her and running off toward Shi'ita on all fours. I brush up against him gently and purr softly to him. "I'm sorry Batboy, I was really trying..." I rub my head against his gently, continuing to purr.

I wipe my blade clean, completely disregarding whatever Desta does in retaliation. I knew it was going to happen, but I just couldn't let that man go, and based on her reaction, I wouldn't have been shocked if she had tried to get him freed before we reached the city. It always befuddled me why she was so apt to protect a man who murdered and mained many, but was so eager to kill a conscript tobreak out of jail. Guess a good merciful spirit goes out the window if the person doens't have a name or a face. I walk up to the professor to deliver a coup de gras; best not to let him suffer too long.

Desta: "She—is—right..." The Professor gasps. "There—is—no—fair—trail—for—me..."
Shi'ita: "I—am—sorry..." The Professor gasps. "No...Almon—Llertres—is—sorry..." Even though he's not saying it directly, he is clearly implying that his real name is Almon Llertres, whereas The Professor is just a title given to him by the White Coats.
Jasmine: The blade sinks in deep. He grows quiet and he stops breathing. Everyone except Shi'ita and Desta are quiet (Shi'ita is crying and Desta is whispering to him and purring).
Everyone: One of the Cloaks takes off his hood. He is in his forties, like Zazigh, and looks very battle-hardened. "All we needed was the serum," he said. "THEN you could have killed him. So unless you have some, our entire mission is a failure." Everyone remembers that Jasmine has some in her satchel. Everyone also knows that Zazigh seemed to know about it back at the castle, but yet has not asked about it since. Speaking of Zazigh, he's been awfully quiet through this whole ordeal...

"Why do you seek it?" I ask, wiping the blade clean again. I had to admit... that was a strange feeling. Almost like feeling a dark subtle fury. I know in my heart that it was the right thing to do, but I certainly didn't feel that sweet heroic feel they described in the stories.

"We in fact do have some of that vile green liquid that made all this happen in the frist place. But you've already made me angry once so you'll have to give me something worth while, and your reason for having it or you won't even get to see it," I say, challengingly. Also just in case one of them fools tries to do anything I prepair myself to take flight to prevent them from getting the stuff before I get paid what I want.
