Core carefully stood and accepted his hand in a handshake, "Pleased to meet you," He said and looked at the group, "Can we all just settle down? The Academy is the enemy, not each other."

Aislin's eyes went wide, in surprise, she hadn't meant to insult him. But as he continued to throw insults at her it started to annoy her, finally she snapped at him, "Well, excuse me for listening to what you were saying when you said you'd been bloody dead as long as you had been. You also said your the only shadow dancer of your kind. How the ******** was I suppose to know that you were not in fact still dead?! I have dealt with Zombie, immortals, other elves, vampires and ******** demons, not to mention Angels!" She threw a finger at Core, remembering that he was half-angel.

Then took a few calming breaths before continuing, "You said 'No one has been dead nearly as long as you have, I took that to mean you were still dead. I apologize for making the mistake but yelling at me does not help me to like you!" She snorted annoyed, "Now, kindly, stop insulting me. I do not appreciate it."

"Kir's full Angel. Why are you getting me involved with this?" Core sighed.

Aislin raised an eyebrow at Core, this was apparently not her day, "Because you told Gab you spoke Angelic? and if I remember correctly, he spoke back to you."

"I was trying to apologize!" Aislin shouted at the ceiling, feeling like no one was actually listening to the words that were coming out of her mouth. She groaned annoyed, ruffling her hair and turning her back to go to the kitchen, "You know what? Screw it. I'm just going to talk to someone who actually listens to what I'm saying."

"I was born and raised in the Crystallis Research Academy and Kir was an experiment there years ago..." Core said, still looking at Aislin's retreating back. Core had to admit that it was Kir that got the worst of the Academy. All Core got was a few injections to lower his ego and a crystallis implant. Kir...he was transformed into something not living, yet not dead as well. The Angel with black wings, like a harbinger of death. He still stood in the kitchen comforting his daughter.

"It's not my place to talk about Kir, and there's no reason for you to apologize to me," Core said, "But...I strongly believe Kir is the only way we stand a chance against the Academy. So please don't do anything rash. We need to stand together, not fight against each other. I just want the Academy to stop ruining lives and tearing loved ones apart," Kir is the strongest living weapon the Academy ever created. That kind of power can definitely turn the tides of war into their favor.

"Yeah yeah, okay." Barick said as he cooked the other pieces of steak.

Aegina looked at Nikoli. "We have to wait. We don't have a big enough army to take out the Academy, we'll have to recruit more people. We don't even have a set strategy yet, so please, just be patient. And until we have everything ready, I want no one to speak of this in public. If the Academy strikes us before we're ready, we don't have much of a chance of survival." Aegina told him, she looked at Aislin. "Aislin... I think Barick's in the kitchen, maybe you and Nikoli should separate for a while..." She suggested in a friendly manner.
