Miguel chuckled. "hmm... you are good." he launched his fist at the beast lord's face, stopping half a foot away, blasting a fairly powerful blast of energy.

The beast lord cursed and was blown back a few feet. He grinned, "Nice trick rabbit."

Miguel landed, rather gracefully, on his feet, in a battle stance. "heh... im barely getting warmed up." he smirked, and gave a 'bring it' hand gesture.

The beast lord gfrinned. IN liquid speed he slammed into Miguel and reached for his neck.

Miguel wasnt able to fully, or even near fully, block/dodge. however, he was able, sorta, to parry the neck lunge. he added a small blast of energy to make up for the fact that due to the damage, he couldnt instantly use full strength. he coughed a few times, a bit of blood coming up, but not too much.

The beast lord's hand burned, but he didn't move his gaze away from his pray.

Miguel's internal bleeding stopped, but not much else could be done quickly. he spat out the glob of blood still in his mouth, then grinned at the beast lord. he chuckled darkly a bit. "well... now we're talkin." he paused a moment, then lunged out toward the beast lord, almost invisibly fast. he altered his course slightly, so he passed the beast lord's side, firing a punch, amplified by dark energy, at the side of his face.

The Beast lord went flying. He felt his jaw dislocate as he was smashed into a tree. His head went spinning and blood was draining out of his nose.

The beast lord stoud and cracked hia neck a little. Blood ran down his head, "Rabbit...you're mine."

Miguel smirked, and started chuckling darkly. his eyes began glowing with dark energy. the bone spider legs he used before started to form. he held his arms out, in a welcoming fashion. "come into my parlour..." as they finished forming, he rose a foot or two. "said the spider to the fly."

The beast lord fell to his hand and transformed. He was in his monsterous beast form and howled norrowing his eyes at Miguel.

Miguel cracked his neck. he charged out at the beast lord, his arms trailing behind him, charging energy. he was chuckling slightly under his breath. he curled his lips back, subconciously, into a half smile, half threat.
