Ack! I'm being ogled!

There's been a lot of speculation over whose halo it could be. Cig, Hazy, Kalec... Actually, did Kalec even have a halo? I know he has one now, but I'm not sure if he had one on the account that got banned.

I got accepted to help write and edit the new Gaia FAQ thingie. I guess I should have logged in before 2 AM, because none of it is making sense to me right now. sweatdrop

Oh my gosh! I beat Kanoko and decided to open it, even though I knew I'd get crap. But I didn't. I got a phoenix! *squeals*

Bloody lucky! User Image

Me, I beat her, opened it and got a red/black Joker hat. User Image In my second bundle, I lost and got a Biancamella 6th. My only other win, though... I sold got 2k more than I bought the bundle for in the first place... so technically it's a win. User Image

Still want those damn beads, though. User Image

If it turned out to be Cig's, and I somehow won it... I don't think I'd ever stop giggling. whee

oh damn, apparently they charged the Iranian protesters with axes today. Reports of a woman butchered alive by 8 Basiji.

I have heard similar stories from many other places and I have had to read about much worse inhumane human behaviour for my education. I never grew much of a resistance to these kinds of recounts of what one human being can do to another. It's just too horrible for me to grow accustomed to.

Also: the government sent invoices to families of murdered protesters charging them for the bullets used to shoot their sons/daughters/fathers/mothers. Kafka would be proud.

It's over and I'm single a.k.a. alone. I could ask you to stick around will I'm in the military doing god knows what, but I would never ask that kind of commitment from you. So I did the only thing I could do. I was honest, but not brutal. I simple accepted the truth. We can't be together anymore.

Yeah, it's highly likely that Iran's election was not fairly ran. Hello, calling Florida, calling Christine Gregiore. What are your thoughts?

Hypocracy. Sometimes it's a big deal sometimes it's just being an american. In the 1960's we weren't so nice to protestors and they just wanted to spread the word of peace. Also, even to this day the gay community is fighting for equal rights. It's much much more mild then what Iran is going through, but I think americas involvement to investigate the election is pretty interesting considering our own history of shame. No, I do not believe we have learned from our mistakes because if we did it wouldn't be written into law who can marry who and we wouldn't deport protestors with green cards. No way Jose??? Yes america did that.

America is not trying to recount Iran's votes, I have no idea where you got that from.

In fact, Obama is trying to make it as clear as humanly possible that this is not about the US, he'll be damned if barges in there guns blazing to save the free world. That was Bush's shtick and he sure made a lot of friends with it.

I love that book!

As a timid little asian girl who wants to please everyone, working as a collector for a collections agency proves rather difficult.

But tip to anyone in UFG: If you ever get called by a collector, don't cuss
'em out, 'cos it won't help matters. But I doubt anyone in UFG would have a debt in collections, so, there, useless advice! sweatdrop

I think that collectors are taught to get some sort of violent emotion out of their customers in order that they would get cross and just pay so they could be left alone. But of course, that doesn't work most times.

Doesn't debt collection jobs have a large-a** turnover rate because folks seem to get lots of power to their head?

my dad got calls from a collections agency once. here's the worst part, though: it wasn't for him, but it WAS for a cousin of his (he has 25 of them) who has not only the same name as him, but also the same birthdate. try explaining that to a collections agency person and not sounding like you're trying to get out of it.
