"Don't worry, Jacen, if we get into trouble... I met this mutant there who can help you..." Phenix yawned herself. And taking a cue from Jacen's light slumber she got up from the table and put her dishes in the dishwasher.
"I feel like I haven't slept in days... I probably haven't. If you guys don't mind, I'd like to get some sleep. Tomorrow morning, can we round up Kurt and Forge?"
"No problem," Lindsey said with a sly grin. She was just dying to talk Kurt into this Phenix could tell.
Phenix nodded and left the kitchen. She slunk up the quiet stairs and went to her room. The hallways seemed so quiet. Elisabeth Bradock was supposed to be acrossed the hall, but it appeared that her friend left the Institute while she was gone. Her room seemed just as empty. Nothing had moved since she was last there. It was so familiar and yet so distant.
She stripped off her X-Men uniform after shutting her door... it felt like she had been wearing it for years despite frequent washings. The belt and arm bands left small indents into her skin where her muscles had started pushing against them. A few months in Limbo made Phenix's body stronger than she had been in this reality. She really had nothing better to do.
Phenix pulled out her silk pajamas from her drawer, they felt so soft compared to the unform. It also felt like a huge weight was lifted from her body. She climbed into her bed and passed out into a dreamless sleep... a restless sleep.

"Man, poor Phenix," Lindsey said sympathetically when she left the room. "This will be kinda weird when we do leave... so few of us left really." Lindsey stood up and lifted her dishes.
"But we know for a fact Kurt WILL join us." She smirked as she washed off her dishes. "Sleep would be a good idea, for ALL of you, tomorrow will be a big day. Especially you Jacen, that arm needs to heal." She placed her hand on his shoulder.
"So go to bed!" She joked and left the room.

OOC: I can't blame you WO. I was waiting for someone to reply to my last post, but it never happen. So we'll continue on as if John and Remy already stole the bus and took everyone back to the house. But the brotherhood needs to come up with a plot. We need something to do. And sooner or later, it would good if the two sides (X-men, B-hood) got into a battle... but of course we'd need a reason, something I haven't figured out yet. So if anyone has and idea for either one of these, please speak up.
IC: John walked in and took a look at the house. Oh great, now look at what he's done. I hope he doesn't get any ideas about makin another show. I told him once not to do it, and because he didn't listen, and tried to stop me, we ended up fighting. And instead of just loosing the show, we lost the whole house. Well let's hope Pietro remember's that... I'll let it be, and see what he does next. John walked past Pietro and into the kitchen. Grabbing two bags of chips he walked back out and tossed the second bag to Remy. "Well this is our house man. Just pick out an empty room and claim it." He then turned to the guy who'd appeared out of no where during John's rampage. "Alright well we're here now, so this is where your ride ends, Mattheis. We are just one group of mutants who live hear, so I need know now, how you feel about your powers, regular people without power, and how you use them infront of them." John said to the Mattheis.

Cloudkicker ...how you feel about your powers, regular people without power, and how you use them infront of them." John said to the Mattheis. "How I feel about my powers? Well, I think they're pretty damned slick. As for regular people, well, they're boring as hell most of the time, incredibly gullible, and easily impressed. Not something for 'em to be proud of. As for using my powers in front of them, it really doesn't matter if I do or not, because they wouldn't know it was me, doing half the stuff. So yeah, I like my powers, I like using my powers, and people without powers are fun as hell to screw with," I reply to his question. "Why do you ask?"

Winged Outlaw OOC: ATTENTION BROTHERHOOD POST, DAMMIT :p I mean come on? the X-Men are totally outshining us and that?s NEVER supposed to happen! On another note, I was thinking about having Pietro lay siege to the X-Men for some kind of pointless reason or another. I?m thinking pure boredom. As soon as we have enough people out there, I?m doin? it ^_^ I wanna see how some of you newbies will interact with him. OOC: lol Sorry WO. I was too distracted by my PS2 and Shadow Hearts: Convenant. What can I say? Video games are my passion! IC: Wanda sighed as she heard the boys talking and arguing about what to do next. She looked at Yukiko and Sorsha. "Ok you get into your room, freezer or whatever you go to sleep because you look like you need more blue in your face," she told Yukiko. "And you, she said pointing at Sorsha, you're taking the room next to mine. Follow me. I'll show you." Foamy, who was on Wanda's shoulder, made a face. "Is it just me or it smells around here?" "Sweety cake! You're back!" said an overjoyed Toad as he jumped on Wanda. Or maybe tried to jump on her. The gothic girl moved her right hand and "helped" Toad to take a bowl of fresh air. She closed the door and looked at Foamy. "You are a very good Toad detector. You're not leaving my side now." "Hey! I'm not some kind of smelly detector ok?! UNLESS you pay me with bagels." "Geez at this rate, you're going to be a fat squirrel."

John listened to Mattheis's answer. "I needed to know where you belong. There are two groups in this city. Your answer tells us where you need to be." John pointed to the stairs, "The rooms are upstairs. Pick an empty room that you find." John turned his head just in time to see Toad go flying out the door. He shook his head and laughed. "That boy's never gonna learn." John turned to Noko. "Hey are you alright? You've been real quiet since we got back."

OOC: Any new X-Men wandering around can feel free to stumble onto our story if you want. I don't want to exclude anybody.
IC:
The night moved quickly and Phenix couldn't help but wake up at the crack of dawn. She fumbled down to the kitchen to get some cereal and sat on the couch with her feet (and fuzzy penguin slippers) up on the coffee table. She crunched and watched the local news since it had felt like she didn't know the world around her.
Morning was quiet for the most part until she felt (and heard) somebody walking down the hallway. When the young Navajo man walked into the living room, she knew it was Forge. Even if she hadn't met him before, which she only did once, she would have known by the way he was tinkering with a small robot in his hand. He sat down in a chair acrossed from her, "Jamie tells me you have an experiment."
"Yes, a live one," She swallowd her mouth full of food and put the bowl down. She explained the situation to Forge who looked entirely interested in the idea.
"Has Kurt agreed?" He asked.
"Lindsey is working on it," She nodded.
"Do we have Xavier's permission?"
"Do we ever?" She smiled, "One way or another, though, I'm sure he will know."
Forge nodded, "I need to work on a few things, but get everybody together in my lab in three hours."
Phenix nodded, put her dishes in the kitchen and went back upstairs. She knocked on Lindsey's door, "Hey Lynz, can you get Kurt to Forge's lab in three hours?"
Lindsey yawned, "No problem."
Phenix then knocked on the closed doors of Jamie, Jacen, and Kim telling them to be in the lab in three hours if they're still game. She walked past Piotr's room, glanced at its silence, and kept walking. She had to. She couldn't get her hopes up.

"Thanks," I reply, hefting my bags with ease, and ascending the stairs. "Nice place they got here," I mutter as I pick one of the empty rooms. "Good," I say as I see four hooks on the wall above the bed, "A place to hang my swords." I put my bags (all two of 'em) on the bed, open one of them, and take my sheathed swords out.
Been quite a while since I've been able to display them, I think as I place them on the hooks. (The hooks are almost right angles, and form a nice little brace for the swords)

Jodie, now revitalized, decided to give herself a tour of the underground facilities. She whistled loudly as she walked into each room she could get into, just to take a quick peek at everything. When she came across a lit room, she was slightly confused. She peeked her head in the door, and then hopped in and for some strange reason, decided to hide and try to scare the person who was working there...who wasn't there yet.

OOC: Sorry I've been inactive as of late, my brothers are home for the holidays, so it'll be slightly difficult to get on, but feel free to rp my character so I can post whenever I can.
IC: Jamie heard the knocks, and stood up slowly. He grabbed everything he might need for an adventure, and sat back on his bed, turning on a radio to wait.
