You don't hit pressure points using open palm really...
If your talking about pressure points then your just getting into Dim Mak. Which I don't know a whole lot of IRL, only a few.
(Also, you might be thinking of Snake style)
And also...hard points on the body don't really matter. It's all really the same.

Jonath Nell Yeah, you break your hadn if you are stupid enough to attack a hard point on their body like their skull, But if you are aiming for pressure points then it is a diffrent story. Instead of focusing on pressure points.. you'd be better off learning how to defend against most attacks. That said... pick up boxing or muay thai or BJJ or Judo.

A good portion of open palm is deflecting (think...kung fu movies), additionally...Dim Mak is hard. mad

Well, like I said I don't do it much and have never really had any formal classes that lasted past a weeks worth of lessons, so I don't really know much about it.
I don't really know what my style of fighting would be most closely related to, or even if it would be of any use in a fight. All I know is that I mostly focus on thrusts with the palm, Pressure point jabs (when I can get to them), and elbow jabs when I am in close. Chances are that if I were in a real fight though, I would lose due to a diffrence in size and my lack of expeariance.
As far as boxing or muay thai or BJJ or Judo, I do not think that my body type is correct to preform any of those.

Well at 5'2" tall I, and skinny as a rail, I don't even think that they could get me into shape. Not to mention the numerous medical problems that I have had since I was born.

Some of the most dangerous and strongest guys in the world with their hands are short wiry guys though.
Cause they have crazy endurance and strength.

Mr. Crawley WELL... if you're happy you're happy. I'll just leave it at that. Yeah, for the time being, I am happy. I guess if I ever were to get the chance to do some real training I would try it out though. It is just that every class that I have ever joined did not last any longer than a weeks worth of classes, and as far as I know there is no one around where I live that does training that I would find intersting. Maybe if I am lucky I will be able to find a student run martial arts class when I get into collage, maybe I will be even luckier and find a fencing class, also.

I have horrible endurance and little to no strength. Hell the only thing I really have going for me is my speed, and that is just no good without the strength and endurance.

Well no one's gonna hand them to ya.
Just try this.
Every day before you get on the computer.. do 10 pushups. Anytime you gotta get up from the computer and come back.. right before you get back on.. do 10.
Simple things. But effective in the long run.
It wont really increase your endurance but probably your strength.

Yeah, I have thought of doing things like that, and I also use to do 50 push-ups right before bed, though I have heard it does more if you do them in the morning. It has been a while since I did that, maybe tonight.
Now I just need to find a way to increase my endurance... confused
[edit]: It is times like these that I wish I could learn how to swim... boy I'm, kind of pathetic aren't I?

I'd say go swimming if you want to increase your endurance, but it's winter, unless you know of a gym with a nicely heated pool. Your other choice is running, but I'm against running unless it's from the cops.

Well for endurance .. do 50 a day and call it quits.
But strength training is different. Just treat it as a practice rather than a routine.
10 is enough. If 10 becomes to easy.. elevate your feet.
Or do 5 on one hand and 5 on the other.
